John Lennon, was, and is, in my opinion, one of the greatest musicians and philanthropists of all time. Why he had to go, I don't know, God wouldn't say. (I know that's a McCartney song) Point is, this song is basically what John was after the Beatles and up to his death, and it is so deep and meaningful that it can be taken in a million different ways.
