I wonder how many more of these clues from Alice we're gonna have to endure? I was laughing so hard when Bo broke that plaque and found a key inside. I have this image in my mind of Alice spending the last day before she died running around town hiding shit for Bo and Hope to find. Soon they'll come across an old doughnut Alice baked with some sort of magic medalion inside.

I definitely preferred the Higley story lines, but Days has a nice feel right now - like good macaroni and cheese -- it's not that good, but it's comforting. I noticed a nice increase of pop-culture & movie references, & references to the past (like Marlena's bad cooking). But the big reboot is at best a lateral move so far. Oh, and yes -- the clues that Bo and Hope are finding are the LAMEST thing since Austin and Greta in the garden of eden. And shouldn't that plaque have been made of metal?

@murphymagick I think you said it perfectly. I enjoyed DAYS under Higley too. I know it was maligned but I loved the way Chloe's hooker storyline tied into so many other characters'. I liked how I was legitimately surprised by certain climaxes to stories. I was told that with this reset DAYS there would be a gasp in every episode. And after every week, there would be a WOW. And there hasn't been! It's been slow and benign! Some great moments interspersed with overall boring writing
