  • It actually reminds me a lot of a Russian, Vaganova-trained teacher I used to take from!

  • This teacher is obviously an amazing one! She was trying to get the girl to get strength from her core, many Russian teachers do this kind of thing, it's how they were taught and it's how they teach. Especially Vaganova teachers, which I'm almost positive this one is. She's not trying discourage or hurt her, she's only trying to help her!

  • This teacher went on and on for over 6 mins! That is embarrassing for this poor child. No wonder she was upset. Enough is enough. The more she talked the more upset the child was getting. After 2 minutes the teacher should have moved on.

  • I love how supportive her friends are at the end <3

  • wth? what is she crying about? Im hoping she got frutrated because she couldnt get a step or something... because the teacher is being totally nice

  • I want translation!

  • I don´t believe that terror is the right way to help young children!!

  • I know inside, she's definitely not smiling, I'm a ballet dancer and my teacher doesn't tolerate mistakes. I've definitely made mistakes and their were times where i found myself on the urge of crying, but then there's this flame in me to stay strong and do better. Her teacher is a great teacher which her students will be great too. Ballet is a tough sport.

  • dancing should be fun, but this teacher has made it hell for this poor girl!

  • @lsdr1 she couldnt help it. Ballet is a very disciplined form of dance, and it really requires a strong body and will.

  • She speaks to the girl, it is impossible to force to study in ballet. If you here, it only your choice. If you want to come to the dream, forget pity to itself. And in the end has told, all will be good. She hasn't told any rough word, this woman the wise teacher. I'm Russian, I understand about what they spoke.

  • I have a ballet teacher that's really sweet I thought they were not supposed to be sweet, I dont know. Mine is. :)

  • Wow what a beautiful child, what a champ for holding those tears right till the very end. But i can understand, ballet is very demanding and will probably be much more like this over the years, so in sense the teacher is preparing her and the rest of them to the future in ballet.

  • What language is the teacher speaking in?

  • @webcamfan2569 it's russian

  • This teacher is absolutely sick person. She really needs psychiatrists help or vibrator at least.

So sorry for a girl. wish her luck

  • The teacher was not harsh in her language, but I think it was completely unnecessary for the whole five minutes to be on the girls’ case, what’s the point. She stated clearly in the first sentence that she was unhappy about girl’s form, why continue mumbling for another 5 minutes about the same thing, she would just not let it go… too much….

  • @YZ33100 She explained 5 minutes to this child how to be strong. She spoke that if not much to demand, but only to be sorry at a lesson nobody will reach perfection. Excuse for my bad English.

  • the teacher is right ....for tis work we have all to be forced and stressed = /

  • Para ser una buena maestra no es necesario ser tan nazi con las sencibles artistas emergente del ballet clasico, Los desagradales se entienden en cualquier idioma. Las alumnas son verdaderas mariposas de la danza.

  • Beautiful girl, beautiful dancer, and a good teacher. shes harsh but everyone must be, tears come so easily when its because of a teacher, but you have to remember that the more they yell the more potential they see

  • russians are so harsh.... but as a result produce the best ballet dancer in the world

  • I love how her classmates comforted her like that... sure didn't happen to me when I gymnastics coach yelled at me for making a mistake...

  • She is beautiful. OMG

  • That girl is so beautiful. I started to cry myself watching this, because I know excactly how she feels. I sometimes start to cry during class also, because I want to do it right, but my body doesn't allow me to! That girl will be an amazing dancer, I just know it :)

  • Russian... such a beautiful language.

  • So cute how all of the girls come and comfort her afterwards :)

  • ALWAYS THE SAME POOR GIRL!!!!!!!!

  • @halfpipepuppies BUT AXUALY AT THE END SHES NICE

  • mean

  • 6:25 sooo sweet!!!!

  • what is her name ,she is going to be a brilliant ballet dancer!

  • it's a very hard video for the natives. sort of army for little girls. very nice girl, but nothing proves she'll be a great ballerina. the girls know how easily they can be expelled.

  • 6:04 lol the girl in the background!

  • PORFAVOR¡ me gustaria entendder lo que dicen¡ podrian poner subtitulos??¡

  • Aww this is a little hard to watch :( Im sure she will look back on this day know all the trainging and talk was just to make her into a wonderful ballerina :) Hopefully :O

  • poor kid! I'm sure she's gonna be the best ballet dancer though!!!!!

  • i think she and the other girls will be gr8 in whatever they will do:)

  • this arent tears are diamonds slliping in that beautiful face never give up i bet today she is one of the most talented in their group

  • aw they have awesome team spirit (:

  • She is a beautiful girl. Does she remind anyone else of Natalie Portman? A little little little bit?

  • PPL! Im a ballet dance and I know that you wont make it far in the dance world if you don't have discipline and if u dont shed tears once and a while. I am not saying this teacher had the right to make this girl cry and embarrass her in front of the whole world, cus that is wrong, but that doesn't mean everything in the dance world needs to be sugar coated. This teacher was doing her job, but just a little too harshly. AND, those tears led that girl to be one of Russia's best ballet dancers!

  • Leave her alone fatty and lose some weight before you critisize people

  • idk y that teacher was yelling at that girl i take ballet she was turned out fine! the teacher just wants to sound like she know all which i find is wrong

  • Im so jealous of that girl..SO PRETTY!!!!!X3

the one that was crying is pretty

  • what was she saying

  • Olga says that "several times I was about to give up ballet but the truth is that after getting through all the difficulties and hard work and tears - yes, and tears! - it's impossible to just give up. Only through overcoming yourself I've started loving ballet more and more. Every next victory gives me the greatest will to go on and I feel really happy. And then the ballet opens to me all it's beauty and charm. I simply adore dancing!...Otherwise I would be a painter" )))

  • BTW...This wonderful girl is now 22 yo and she is called as one of the 170 world best ballet dancers. She is even much more beautiful now ))) PERFECT GEM! So...all thanks to her brilliant Teacher!

Google for Olga Malinovskaya and see. Well here is what I found, just add 3w and follow: ardani dot com>Company Projects>Reflections>Who Is Who>Olga Malinovskaya

She has justified her Teacher's hopes and truly was the best student. So, relax - she is happy now )))

  • Don't forget also that it is Bolshoi Ballet Academy! Where Teachers are not just training their own teaching skills and hardly free to experiment with students. It is a very old school of ballet and very conservative training system. I bet they won't keep BAD teachers there. This is why Russian ballet is the best.

  • @Lucy4Art It used to be the best, the last few years when they came to US, the critics were not so impressed...I wasn't eather...

  • don't listen to the fat bitch

  • The teacher goes on and on and on and on. That is too much. That is why the girl is crying. If you teach, you also have to know where someone needs a break. Those children are not machines. Beautiful girl by the way. My guess is the teacher is jealous and that is why she's breaking this particular girl. Outstanding reaction of the child by the way. Take the insult, let it fall down your cheeck and SMILE!

  • @harigepudding No, your impression is wrong. This Teacher isn't cruel or jealous, would be stupid to think so. She's experienced and perfectly knows how to teach. She is kind and understanding but only after the lesson is learned. She wants this kid to learn to be strong no matter what. Because it's the only way for little star to become a SUPERSTAR. All the greatest Russian sportsmen and ballet dancers were trained such a way. This beautiful talented girl will thank her Teacher few years later.

  • Aw, the emotional abuse :( I want to take all of them and give them a hug

  • She is a wonderful dancer and at such a young age!

  • she is really good and her classmates were very kind at the end. i wish my classmates could b like that during ballet class...

  • She's so beautiful!!!

  • @dinha210262 Who? the teacher? :D kidding

  • She's the best of the class... That's why the teacher believe her!!

  • Such a sweet sensitive young lady.

  • It doesnt seem like her teacher said anything THAT bad to make her cry. I've heard worse from my teacher... I just dont understand why she cried.

  • aw how cute

  • This is a good video. I wish I lived in Russia so I could of had a better teaching of ballet. I am American and I agree America is shit everyone is fat and lazy. I wish I lived in Russia instead of America home of the lazy ass shit.

  • awwww that was sooo sad. i literally started crying myself. :( she was such a cuteee looking girl! nawww

  • What did she say?

  • @Cheerchasey82

    See description

  • For those of you writing shit about americans you wish you had what we have, go suck a dick you stupid mother fuckers I'm a dancer and a good damn dancer at that and did not have to have someone yelling in my face to learn. I have tought many kids and won many comp. I would love to compete, with any of you I just bet you have nothing on us.

  • @littleki1986

I bet that most of the people ur complaining about ARE AMERICAN. :) just sayin...

  • she is so pretty!!! her friends r also really supportive at the end

  • a menina é muiito linda, coitada acho q ela ficou com trauma!

    kkkk'

  • довели до злез бедного ребенка

  • I didn't understand a word she said but if my dance instructor was being rude i would have totally snapped :P

  • @sallianjonas She wasn't rude.

  • That little girl is so beautiful! The teacher seems like she's tough but loves her students. And the other students seem so kind.

  • she jumps really high! :O

  • i just love how ballerina's are such good friennds<3

  • What a great group of friends

  • horrible and splendid at the same time ...

  • oh gosh i wish i had a teacher that nice my Russian teacher carried around a wooden meter stick and hit us with it and she never almost gave us complements

  • what a stupid teacher

  • @caroluisezluhan it is not a stupid teacher, that is the only way to get good dancers in ballet whicth is one the most difficult things that exits, maybe you are american and you do not understand the training that is why you have shitty dancers and teachers in your country, I m sorry because I went to America recently for visit my brother and i went to a karate class which i am black bell and it is really depressing the poorness of the level in martial arts which is also an art as ballet.

  • i do boxing i get real shit this is nothing all am saying is this not a way to teach a lil girl u might as well encourage them and tell them in a proper manner i get alot of bullshit from my coach and it makes me tougher and angry and makes me practice more and i see results that girls a lil angel man you cant go harsh on somthing like that if it were a boy it would be a different story but girl hell no man there not made to yell

  • What is this little girl's name?? She is so pretty!

  • @Veronicasims3 I think her name is Olga Malinovskaya.

  • Her class mates are very nice to her at the end, it is good to see that she has support!

  • That girl has a very long neck!

  • thumbs up she looks like altynai asylmuratova!!!!

  • what a bitch of a teacher

  • I'm am a ballet dancer, and sometimes I cry during ballet class, but not because the teacher is mean, but because I'm frustrated with myself. The teacher and the student here i think are doing very well on their parts.

  • @hannaharnott You said a mouthful, friend! At first, when I watched, I was wondering "What tears?" but then as I watched more and replayed a section or two, particularly the last part, it hit me. The instructor's explanations weren't the source of the tears. Not in the least! The problem lay in the child's own feelings of inadequacy, and discouragement with this deficiency.

  • @1958boomergirl yes, i believe that is it exactly.

  • Ballet teachers are hardest on the ones they think can succeed/improve

  • that beautiful tears! I really like the tears he looks very beautiful

  • omg!!!!!!!!

  • I find this profoundly inspiring. I always knew ballet dancers control their body perfectly, and I also knew years at school were really hard, so in order to survive you should control your emotions. But, this, this is mind-blowing; seeing this little girl holding her tears for so long and maintaining the all-happy-never-tired-dancer attitude, and then bursting to tears shows us what's passion.

  • @hopelesslyinlovedu It also shows that the young girl, and her instructor, are also human beings. Even with her tears, she kept her composure really well. I also think the teacher deserves a ton of credit here, too. In my opinion, she was giving a life lesson that may give that girl a boost of encouragement she may need. However, she also recognized that the girl is someone who loves to dance, and was probably crying because she's struggling with the passion that she loves.

  • she actually has a very good teacher. i have an american teacher and she would never give me a hug lol. it all depends wether youre determined, once we ended up doing bourees for 5 minutes en pointe without coming down and i was crying the whole time while my teacher yelled but i got through it my feet on the other hande were covered in blisters.... and its true if you dance with all youve got when youre dead tired you dance twice as good when youre not:)

  • THOSE TEARS MEAN THAT SHE WILL BE ONE OF THE MOST BRILLIANT BALLET DANCERS !!!

  • @XKayleeRochelle She was trying to tell her what she did wrong and what she was suppose to do, you shouldn't get mad at the teacher, because that is the whole purpose of her job. To help students so that they can do very well.

  • shes the nicest russian ballet teacher i ve ever seen! most of them are really strict and scream at their students...

  • i don't get what there trying to prove to us if we can't understand hello only American people are writing can't people see next whoever made dis video u should make in English

  • The girls were so supportive at the end.

  • Why is everyone so hard on the teacher? Being a nice teacher doesn't mean just ignoring mistakes so no one gets upset, it means correcting the pupils. They are there to learn. You can obviously see she cares about her pupils, she wants them to progress.

  • Actually her teacher is brilliant and wishes only best for her students. Its sweat, tears, blood and so much sacrifice, if anyone out there has a better idea how to master ballet, music or any type of art, science, athletics without all that pain, please let humankind know asap but for now, who ever is thinking that teacher is wrong, should just shut the hell up

  • She is one of the prettiest girls I have ever seen. She is so elegant. I bet she will go very far in her ballet career.... <3

  • anyone know what she was saying to her?

  • @123eilidhxx it's in the video description what the teacher said to her.

  • does she even do the ballets?? @_@

  • aw at least all the girls at the end are supportive, the girls at my studio are so rude.. they'll throw you under the bus any time and talk behind your back.. :/ the little girl held it together really long!!

  • i would cry if my teacher kept pickin on me-leave her ALONE!!!!!!!

  • ugh stop picking on her already.

  • leave her the fuckkk alone

  • I used to be drilled over and over and criticized in harsh harsh ways during the many years I did ballet. When you're trying your hardest and you're still being told otherwise it's hard not to cry. She's beautiful and i'm sure she will be a wonderfulllll ballerina.

  • fat teacher

  • What fat asshole of a teacher and what a beautiful wonderful little girl :)

  • get off her D!

  • ballet teachers are assholes, all of the suck ass!!!

  • she is amazing teacher :)

  • i love the end. all those girls love each other.

  • What a stunning girl.. Bless her.. Xx

  • There is a difference between classical curriculum/ serious ballet dancers and dollyfuckingdinkle studio dance. I'm not judging, studio dance is all fine, if it's just a hobby. ballet instructors are supposed to be tough. They push your limits, and the more they believe in you, the more they pick, pull, yell, criticize, and push you. Especially in other countries. Ballet is hardcore in places like Russia and France. I'm almost sure that girl is aware of that.

  • It seems like she says a lot more than just whats in the translation, no?

  • @juliamaluca thats stupid because shes being a good teacher the old studio i went tothe teacher was alot worse i felt like shit whenever i messed up because she made practicaly a sppech on every fucking detail

  • i take ballet too and it is really hard. what is the girls name?

  • Yes shes not the first young ballerina that cries ! I thinck she was very polite , its not easy!! it takes years of practice and you can experience bad moments and sometimes its even very hard .NO one was born with ballet shoes on their feet

  • @Tap2323 First learn russian before U try to say that this teacher is HELPING this kid.

YES helping to be a russian legs-lifting-robot.

NOT helping because if You could understand she just ruined her psyhics.

I know exactly what i'm talking about.

  • Comment removed

  • @Tap2323 well, if You would translate this word by word, and take particular sentences that might sound ok.

But imagine that during 6 min she says something like "Oh sweetheart is everything ok with You, maybe you feeling bad?:):):):):):) No? Aghrrrrrr then I gonna speak with You in another way. Maybe You dont want to work?No You dont no you dont. ect during several minutes"

So the teacher forces her to answer the same questions in the same way.

    BRAINWASH

  • i see wut the teacher was doing. poppin a little discipline in her so she'll try harder. me...., i wouldve probably bugged out and yelled "Yea....,? you can do this? lemme see your fat ass float like butterfly!"

  • dance isnt easy and the fact that this girl breaks down then has this hope really shows she is going to go far, the dance world is harsh but what kills you makes you stronger and this can apply to dance to all the harsh battles you face will always make you push yourself more and more and all its all worth it <3 loved this video <3

  • Number 1, I hope this little girl has a mother or a father that can counter this nastiness. Number 2, look how respectful this girl is; she just takes it and takes it. I have to give her credit for not lashing out at that teacher.

  • lady talks too much.!!!

  • why is picking on the same girl all the time? the one in the left front corner was doing worse...

  • @charzuki it's not who does worse or better. she has faith that this girl will go far in her career. that she will be the best. why do you think she is helping her so much? maybe she's correcting her now but later she will be praising her.

  • Tears of future angels.

  • I don't get a word shes saying but i know but teacher seems motherly to her students.

  • I dont get a word shes saying but i know strict teachers are better than 'nice' ones. I've been to two dif ballet schools and i've had one strict and one 'nice' teacher, i learned a lot more with the strict one. and she wasn't mean, she just didn't let you do it wrong.

  • I don't think she is rude, just very very strict. And she is trying to make them the best dancers they can be. I think teachers should be strict, but not mean. A dancer requires good training and discipline. And you wont get discipline if you have a teacher who doesn't correct you when you do something wrong. As a matter of fact, I wish I had a teacher like this. It is what makes a good dancer. Thats my opinion.

  • Well, the teacher seems not to be that bad, because she's hugging her.

  • at least her teacher isnt screaming at her, she says the corrections in a steadied tone, this could be ten times worse, than this video depicts.

  • "Ballet is an art, but it's also one of the most difficult sports. If you can survive a ballet workout, you can survive a workout in any other sport."

--Action Superstar Jean Claude Van Damme

Truer words were never spoken and never will be.

    --Love Unconditional, Dane Youssef

  • 6.24 is the most beautiful thing in this video

  • that little girl has the most beautiful blue eyes ever! the teacher is being really nice but...i wonder if she's only acting for the camera? maybe not...but i'm just wondering.

  • I think Sweety was more frustrated with herself then driven to tears by the Teacher.....tends to happen sometimes with Students, who are training so hard. I´m a teacher myself and had that happen some times...the Relationship between them seems pretty good.

  • you are a credit to all dancers..

  • russian teachers are stricter than american. i know because i used to take ballet from american teacher but my mom thought she was to gentle on me so i have russian teacher now. it is much more productive and better use of time.

  • I feel horrible for her.. I know its all to do good though. But I would die to know what she was saying.

  • @orkidluver97 she is saying at the begining explaining how to do the jumps, then she keeps asking her if she wants to do this or not and that, she is only teacher and cannot MAKE her do all work if she does not want to.

  • This reminds me of the relationship with my dance teacher and me. She pushes me hard, sometimes to my breaking point...but she only does it because she loves and wants the best for me! :')

I love you Mrs. Tara, and thank you! <3

  • sorry but,their too skinny....

  • awww poor little girl! she is so amazing too!

  • shes such a beautiful little girl :) she will be wonderful as a dancer- she was smiling through her tears

  • @godloverbrit poor girl and the old lady doesnt even care

  • but when she's older and KNOWS what she's doing, she's be very grateful for having such a strict teacher. it'll also make her stronger, bc there may very well be harsher people demanding more from her, so at a young age, getting the short end of the stick may be better than riding it easy until you're older and less vulnerable. ballet is like teaching manners, you have to get it programmed in the child's head before they're too old to develop them.

  • I believe that the teacher was spectacular. I take ballet myself, and I know that a good teacher is one who demands the world from you, and you have to work very, VERY hard to show her that you are trying. A student who doesn't try is no student at all. This girl was trying, and the teacher was very nice to her when she gave her that pep talk. And her friends were very nice for hugging her at the end as well. This video actually inspired me to be a better ballet dancer. :)

  • One has to enjoy the path, not just the goal. Find a kinder teacher.

  • I wish there were teachers like this in the United States. This is real teaching - real ballet.

  • The moment at the end where her friends all circle around her is so lovely. Heartbreaking, touching scene...

  • Everyone is saying good thing she has amazing friends when the fact is they were all smiling in satisfaction because they were better for once. Those are the worst friends the ones that are nice to your face and mean behind your back. Plus i saw another girl doing terribly she wasnt even landing in fifth maybe the teacher should correct everyone who is doing it wrong.

  • @snazzydancer100 I disagree, i think people were probably smiling because they understood, and because they'd been in the same position. Plus, there isn't time to correct everyone. Any good dancer should pay attention to other people's corrections and apply them to themself.
