Would This Wash Off When You Wash? And Some Ppl Are Saying This Looks Like A Toy & Doesnt Work Right, If It Works Then i'll Buy It But I Would Love The Ink To Stay On The Shirt
Sorry but I have no personal experience with this device. But I would imagine the inks should be permanent if they're applies properly on an appropriate garment according to instructions.
I bought mine for $99.00. There is a silk printing supply company that sells aftermarket Yudu screens 110/156/40/220 sizes and liquid emulsion. You are not "forced" to buy only YUDU consumables. So if you don't like the inks they have , you can buy another kind whether it be plastisol or water based.
TOTAL JUNK. But that won't stop many of you from buying it! If you think YUDU is screen printing, then I have some sulphuric acid based facial cleanser that you will LOVE! the non printers who market this crap are giddy at your ignorance. AND richer for it. Barnum was right, Sucker born every minute.
This is nothing more than a toy! It is more marketing hype than screen print reality. WHY would you pay more to print with a YUDU than it costs to do it the way REAL screen printers do it? See my 'All About Screen Printing' videos and you will soon know the reality. Get pro advice not the marketeer hype. Also see the video: 'YouTees vs YuDu Screen printing' here on youtube. 'Yu' will be glad you did.

SO TELL ME HOW TO PUT BRIGHT YELLOW ON A DARK PURPLE SHIRT???? HMM......... SO, HOW ARE YOU GONNA UNDERBASE?? U CANT!!! WITH THIS MACHINE, YOU HAVE TO USE LIGHT GARMENTS BECAUSE LIGHT COLORS WONT SHOW UP ON DARK SHIRT!!!!!!! OH, AND HOW CAN YOU USE MULTIPLE COLORS WITHOUT PUTTING MULTIPLE COLORS ON THE SAME SCREEN??? U CANT!! U HAVE TO HALF ASS IT!! IT'LL LOOK LIKE A RAINBOW!! THIS PRODUCT SUCKS!! AND VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!! CALL YOUR LOCAL SCREENPRINTER FOR MORE DETAILS...
They keep showing multi-color finished products, but they are only making mono-colored stuff. Does anyone know what the consumable costs are? The photoresist sheet can't be cheap, or the screen and how about that ink?
The emulsion sheets can be so expensive if you don't know where to get them! I order them in a 10 pack from EMULSIONSHEETSdotCOM! Or you can get them from STORESdotEBAYdotCOM/BCN. They are the exact original yudu sheets and you get a 10 pack for around 22 bucks! AWESOME FOR SURE!
It's really funny how People attempt to make this look like an effortless project! In reallity the all of the steps that everyone is going to have problems with, are omitted. Trueth be told, this is a trial and error device, and if you have the erge to get this yudu, please note that you will need many, many, many emulsion sheets. There will numerous mess ups..
This looks like a decent hobby item. But as always you get what you pay for, it's not professional. Also, it looks like it only works good on white material. Colors on dark material look muddy and not opaque. Being a professional screen-print shop we have buckets of ink that cost more than this whole setup.
I purchase this machine for $2`2.00 on sale with tax at Michaels. I am going to sell tee shirts using the yudo paint at first but after I gain more knowledge, I will purchase non toxic screen printing ink on line.
Its kind of tricky and you fell for it. You get to try it in your home for $33.00, not actually buying it. After you try it for 30 days you can either return it or pay the $245
No you can't. Yudu's TV ad and web site are very misleading and neither reveal the FULL price (which is about $300 through them). The $33 you speak of only gets you a 30 day trial period where you can return it if you are not satisfied or keep it and pay off the balance.
Nope.. you just have to buy "screen printing ink" every craft store in your area sells it.. It's almost always near the acrylic and other fabric paints...
I think you're probably limited by the size of the screen. However, if you're very crafty (LOL!) you could probably do more than one screen on a garment - overlapping them to get an all-over effect.
According to the Yudu website, you can "put your favorite designs wherever you like, on t-shirts, book covers, or virtually any flat surface." If you want more info, I'll message you with their website address where they have lots of info and project ideas.
If you follow the link in the video description, you'll find out you can print on paper and a list of other materials. Our product descriptions on our website include virtually all the information we have about the products.
i think you need to use a special silk screening emulsion (looks gluelike) with acrylic paints (50/50). that stays on very well after you've ironed and is inexpensive.
i have the yudo machine t-shirt i have not used it yet but i know iam going to have alot of fun with it i am still looking at tutor online about screen printing i want to know how to do 3 color screen prints on t-shirts is there any other ink i can use on my machine
I would suggest following the manufacturer's instructions on inks. They've given us product information that specifically states that "using non-Yudu inks can permanently damage your screen." Click on the link in the video description for more. As far as doing 3-color screen prints, you're probably going to have to refer to their website or support. I'll message you separately with that info.
