All MTV has been doing since 1999 is struggle to hold onto even the slightest relevance, getting more and more desperate as the years have gone on. Besides, the late 80's/early 90's was the commercial and critical peak of hard rock (at what other point have bands as different as Metallica, Nirvana, and Aerosmith all be huge with the same audience?). Sadly, that peak will never be rivaled.

Yeah, my fave is AC/DC since they've always kept things classic. But GnR's softer stuff are amazing and it's pretty much the onl thing I play on the piano aswell. Just depends which mood ure in. One of my favourite GnR solos is estranged, which is a piano track written by axl
Estranged is one of my favorite songs of all time. Very deep with good solos, good piano, lyrics, and vocals. Last 4 minutes are amazing. But that song is a perfect example...probably not a radio friendly song, and a song that a lot of people were like "what is GNR doing" when it first came out (along with Dont Cry and November Rain), but very good in my opinion. I also see that with GNR's new song "This I Love"...different, but catchy and good.

The task was to perform a song with many musical chords, and as I did bohemian rhapsody last time I decided to play estranged this time. But there are lots of people out there who like artists and bands who experiment and enhance their music as well.

Yeah, my fave is AC/DC since they've always kept things classic. But GnR's softer stuff are amazing and it's pretty much the onl thing I play on the piano aswell. Just depends which mood ure in. One of my favourite GnR solos is estranged, which is a piano track written by axl

Estranged is one of my favorite songs of all time. Very deep with good solos, good piano, lyrics, and vocals. Last 4 minutes are amazing. But that song is a perfect example...probably not a radio friendly song, and a song that a lot of people were like "what is GNR doing" when it first came out (along with Dont Cry and November Rain), but very good in my opinion. I also see that with GNR's new song "This I Love"...different, but catchy and good.

Yeah, one of my all-time favourites aswell. In fact, I performed with it in music class (on the piano). The task was to perform a song with many musical chords, and as I did bohemian rhapsody last time I decided to play estranged this time. I got a perfect mark for it and my teacher said it was a musical masterpiece. Respect for Axl Rose

I didn't say anything about him as an artist so ok...here. Axl is a great artist and I miss the old GNR but he is still a douche bag. Douche bags can be good artists. He always treated the crews like shit back then and has only gotten a little better. Also, 5 million records still doesn't make someone relevant, especially if no one likes being around you.
