ITS FUNNY HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE ONLY PROUD THAT THEY SPEAK THE SAME LANGUAGE AS MOWLANA BUT THEY ARE NOT PROUD OF HIS BIRTHPLACE and other people from there .......
and when he wrote that he is not of india nor of china nor of bulgaria ......
he didnt mean that he had no place on this earth, he just spoke for every single human being, and he had a place and a heritage .......
some people meantion these texts written by him just to say that he could be from anywhere....
دزدیده چون جان میروی اندر میان جان من *** سروی خرامان منی ای رونق بوستان من *** هفت آسمان است در برم ازهفت دریا میگذرم *** چون عاقلانه بنگری این جان سرگردان من
This is what Mawlana Rumi says about turks. Turk Khandedan greft az dastan, Chashmi tangash gasht basta han zaman.
translation; Turk started laughing about the story, his tiny eyes eyes closed themselves from the world at that moment.--
So Mawlana Rumi acknowledges the tiny eyes or oriental features of Turks in his poems while Rumi as a Tajik Balkh didnt have that kinda of feature himself.
bactre=pactre=pakhtun,...paktuike(pashtun) has been mentioned by hereodutus as the pple of gandahara and bactria....tajik is a deerogratory term made by turks then russian for farsi speakin turks
You are right but it also depends what religion you follow
Islam is based on humanity its Islam who guarantees what human value and principles are however you may find some moslims interpreting it differently but if you look at the core foundation of Islam it says something different God ( allah) says in his book Qoraan " we have made human to most noble creation that we have create in entire universe " words of prophet Mohammad (pbuh) are being interpreted by maulana in his books.
if you would know who is (are) behind all religions your perception of this world would be turned upside down. even you said it "we have made human.." the key word being "we"
Anyone knows the original in Persian? Please share
