IF you choose to hang (bad idea) then make SURE your shoulders are pulled tight. You will MESS them up if you just hang. Overall it'd be better to just bring your head over the bar, but some people can't do that.
@hotofaloha raise your legs in a more controlled manner, do them slower, and tighten up your abs more.
also you can bend your arms slightly so that you're holding yourself up instead of just hanging. this will make it more difficult but it'll reduce rocking.
Thanks for being a positive influence and inspiration. I tried these on a pull-up bar focusing on form and am up from 1 to current 7 lifts as of today. Adding a second set of 3. I must say they're pretty tough when done correctly.
Would you kindly tell us what's the difference between doing the leg lift on a dip machine and the pull up machine? I prefer dip machine because I felt hard on gripping the bar

@kzterminator the dip "machine" gives you back support so you don't rely on your abdominals/arms/back for balance/holding yourself up.
