  • but now a days , we can findout our heart rate by using a simple machine interface in a jim.people with different age could have different HR..

    Good luck

  • Hej! I don't believe that your max heart rate is 162, maybe you just didn't push the limit.

  • bytedildo: He was pretty confident we reached my max HR based on what my lactate level was doing and the data of the aerobic/anaerobic balance. I suppose I could have not pushed it hard enough, but in subsequent hard interval workouts my HR monitor has not registered higher than 162.

  • hmm..that's pretty low. Maybe you are some kind of mutant;) I remember having my max HR at about 190, at least. Are you an XC skier?

  • Other than my ability to teleport up to 1,000 miles, I doubt I am a mutant. Remember, I'm 46, so my theoretical Max HR is 174. My current resting HR is 46. I've always had a somewhat slow HR. And yes, I am a cross country skier. Certainly not as much of one since moving the North Carolina.

  • I remember getting my Vo2Max test on the erg...very very hard test.
