I wish I could like this twice. I'll be 2 years without hurting myself as of this January. While I got through it with the help of a close friend going through the same thing, most people don't have that, and organisations like TWLOHA help to spread awareness, remove any stigma attached to these issues and encourage people to reach out for help. You're so brave, Sam.

I am glad that an organization like that exists, but it is still difficult to accept someone helping. I suffer from similar thing.. I think that creative and intelligent beings tend to have depression more...not sure..maybe cuz we see so many possibilities in life and don't feel adequate to fill them...when secretly...we know that we can.. but that is where the problem lies..that few really understand us and we get frustrated.

I love TWLOHA! I have always loved the idea of helping those with depression. It is a disorder that people have ignored. Nobody really gets that people need help with it. And you shouldn't really feel like you should blame someone for this! You can't help getting depressed. I am glad that you got help and it was really wonderful to hear your story and I'm glad that you made this video :-)
