They have played with each other before. Multiple all-star games and 2 olympics and dozens of practices. They have a feel for each other already. Of course there will be some conflict sometimes but conflict is a part of relationships. The right amount of conflict bring relationships closer.

I love fins and heat equally but I have to admit that I love the nfl more than the nba. Football is just slightly greater than basketball, but they are both great in their own way. Theres bandwagoners all over my city mostly because most of the people who live here werent born here. Its a very diverse city, but its still a football city first.

Football is just generally bigger in usa.But I can see a lot of the bandwagoners gravatating to the heat and making a lot of buzz.More would still be made of if the fins win it all rather than the heat. I would take either any day, but there are very few true miami sports fans like me here

And thats part of the reason why I think fins are and always will be number 1 in most peoples eyes as miamis primary team. Football is just so much bigger and passionate than basketball to more people. A lot of people are now suddenly the biggest heat fans when they have watched a handful of games in the last 10 years. Heat will bring more glory but football is just second to none.

Wow that was incredible. WE WENT TO THE FINALS...AND WON!!!! and the first preseason game got more ratings from our people than any playoffs or finals game!!

Half the teams in the nfl have a shot at a championship run this year. Its tougher to win in the nfl and that might be one of the reasons why people love the nfl more than any other sport here. My point was that people in miami will always be more emotionally attached to the nfl(dolphins) than any other team or sport. Football is just bigger. I love both though

@housemanchi and they are under contract for at least 4 years(they can opt out only after 4 years) and their contracts are 6 years each so they wont be going anywhere for a while. Anyways next year we have a mid-level exception that will allow us to get even more pieces than what we have now. That is just scary if youre not a heat fan. only team that got a slim chance is lakers and they still cannot handle wade...or lebron...or bosh....dam i love it... YOU'LL SEE!!!!

Being friends off the court is great but many times things that happen on the court will change those friendships. Especially during the course of an entire grueling season. And remember it's hard for individuals to change, epecially when they've been used to things one way for so long.

@housemanchi Before they are basketball players and teammates, they are human beings and friends first. Off the court relationships translate to on the court relationships. They have played with each other before. Multiple all-star games and 2 olympics and dozens of practices. They have a feel for each other already. Of course there will be some conflict sometimes but conflict is a part of relationships. The right amount of conflict bring relationships closer.

But in most instances these guys will change there tune, especially during the course of battle. Right now they can talk the talk, but that doesn't mean their gonna walk the walk. But he sacrificed all of that to stay here and win championships. You dont give up everything that these guys gave up just for fun.
