That is a very poor system for switching between multiple pedals. You still tap dance with that set up. There are a lot of other switchers that actually offer toggling from bank to bank and the ability to store any choice of pedal routing. I hope this guy updated his rig. Check out switchers by voodoo labs, Carl martin Octa-switch and there are a lot more.
@Diipole it's actually all up to your preference. the octa switch only allows you 8 preset of pedals instead of being able to access all 8 separately, which i prefer. also big loopers with more options take up more space on your board and are more complex so set up would not be easy if you change your board around from time to time.
and as a loop master user, i've found that i don't do any tap dancing actually. all 6 buttons are in front of me in the size of a DL4. easy to use and it's custom.
@thricex05 I would agree that its up to your preference but I'll give you another example. Check out the Cusack pedal board tamer. It actually has all the features that this loop master has but it is also programmable so you can program lets say... 3 effects on bank 1, 5 effects on bank 2, 8 effects on bank 3 and so on. So you have access to each bank as a bypass switch like this Loop Master but you also have the programming capability. Don't get me wrong, sometimes less is more...
yes, the cusack pedalboard tamer is awesome, but i'm not in the position to spend $500 on a TB looper. i got my loop master for $100. if i had a lot of money, i'd probably take my rig to CAE, but i don't have that kind of luxury.
@thricex05 @Diipole me either lol. That's where the Mars Manipulator comes in because to me... programming is more important than having each pedal on a bypass switch. I'm curious if you will want to buy a Mars Manipulator if you haven't heard of it... its about $170. Check it out
no, but pedals that have a trail are not true bypass. so if you want it to be true bypass you need to give up having trails or place them somewhere else in the rig.
Dave you need to tighten up that board!

with a switcher like this, will delays trail after they are bypassed via the switcher (given they trail when bypassed normally)?
