it's great to see that bands can still dress nice, have amazing hair, play rhythmic music that is calm and even about love to listen to.

While here in America, I have to deal with people that wear casual clothes, long banana curled hair, songs with random sounds, and music that is always about being the Devil's bodyguard or hitman or soldier.

Thats Kotekote Kei, not exactly Visual. There are other forms of Kei you know. Diru was pretty VK but they faded into more regular JRock/metal. Buck Tick seems more koteosa Kei to me, but I haven't seen many of his PVs... Dont say VK is dead, because really its still in the process of birth i think. And plus, no bands should ever look alike. Thats Visual. So yes, this is Visual. Different style and music from other bands.

The entire point of Visual kei is pretty much be different. Thats why bands never look alike nor sound alike. If a band sounds similar to another they are either wannabe or tehy were (which is usually the case) eitehr taught by a member of a band or worked with a member of another band. Such as Hizaki Grace Project as well as Versailles. Or The last few songs by malice Mizer and a select few by moi dix Mois. Sadie and Dir en Grey, and plenty of other bands...
