  • I hate that snare. Sounds like a coffee can

  • I hate that snare

  • what exactly is your job? lmao but anyways this was awesome and your snare sounds fucking amazing

  • @beav2013 lol thanks dude! I'm a Drum Instructor, i was just having fun with the set since it was out it was after work

  • wow, what kind of snare is that? : 0

  • @ulayok007 Thats a PDP 805 Blackout 6x10 Snare

  • No shit sherlock =o Awesome jam mate :) already watched it 5 times because of the snare xD

  • @MrNuun Thanks man! i LOVE my snare :)

  • @drumnasty1 iight i get you, so thx i might get the Sabian B8 18" thin crash then o.O ....Thx and yes this answered my question.

  • aye yo that was nice!...btw which crash of Sabian B8 would be good 14" Thin Crash or the 18" Thin Crash cymbal?...

  • @atedj Theyre both pretty loud cymbals, but it depends on what sound you looking for. If You want that loud big sound the 18 would do it, or if you wanna hear that cymbal stand out more get the 14 cuz it has a higher cutting sound. The 14 sounds closer to a hi-hat cymbal though, so maybe the 18 for you. B8's are wack though they dont sound the greatest but theyre inexpensive =/ Hope I answered your question.

  • Snare is very tasteful. The sound is addicting!

  • @FullMetalMouse1 Thanks man....it sounds SO much better live dude believe that lol

  • i like the fact you used a small ass snare lol nice i thing it would sound better with a bigger snare but nice solo

  • @mackie500 Hey man....it was actually a test run. I just got the snare at the time i wanted to see how it would play. It played excellent but the camera didnt do a good job with the sound quality and i was in a classroom playing

  • What cymbal do you hit at 1:28 ?

  • @ccc0mb0IIIIIIbReakeR That, my friend, is an 8 inch Zildjian A Custom Splash

  • @ccc0mb0IIIIIIbReakeR Hey man I got the 8" A custom splash and it's not worth getting, if i were you i would go for a 10".

  • @joelclish I actually have that Splash too....this video is really old so i dont have the array of cymbals then than i have now. Youre right though the 10 is better.

Both the 8" Splashes that you see in the video is currently cracked and out of commission.

  • i got that snare today and it came with a mahogany/maple finish. i havent found it anywhere else! haha but i love the sound.

    btw great job!

  • thanks man....howd you get that finish? ive never seen it like that

  • i actualy got it on craigslist and before i bought it i did reseach and found none of the same finish. So mabee a limited edition?? idk but i actually got it for $50 lol

  • 50???? Yopure a lucky man....i paid 100 for mine....and a Limited Edition possibly? Man you better keep that drum! LOL

  • snare sounds terrible

  • @jarradooo I know the more i hear it the more i think so too....but it was the room the acoustics messed it up it normally doesnt sound like it

  • what kind of stand is that with the 2 cymbals on it.

o yea and watch my videos

  • Its a Pearl stand with a Gibraltar Cymbal Stacker on top

  • 2:29 - 2:40 = rad fills.

  • You can always tell a great drummer when he can make B8's sound that good!

  • Thats one of the best compliments ive gotten man thanks!!!

  • i bought pdp 805 snare 6"x10" yesterday...and sounds great!!! nice playing m8!! ;)

  • Thanks man...and enjoy that snare!! :)

  • Nah its a 10x6

  • Cool solo but muffed pinstripes are no-go =/

  • they were for the school auditorium

  • the snare sounds so phat. i love it

  • Thanks man it took me a WHILE to get to sound that way it sounds better live trust me on that one

  • yo man,.,u got sickk hi hat patterns ! u into dave matthews n carter beuford 4 sure innit !? the toms in the end are well fast...i need to get back to working on my hand speed after having concentrated too much on the quad pedal thing !

  • Yeah man some of my peers laugh at me cause of how i handle my hand speed lol....but hey they work for me....its all about Show-style marching and the Drum Corp International man lol.....but to answer ur question i like dave Matthews band i dont have any of his music but i hear him play

  • hey dude wut kinda snare is that, and wut kinda head are u usin on it.

  • that sounds nice!! you're a great drummer

  • thanks dude!!

  • Interesting application of drum corp style to a set. Best of luck in your musical pursuits!

  • Thank You!!

  • Hey man, for the relatively small sizes your toms have a very deep sound. What heads are you using? And are they maple drums? How do you tune them?

  • im using Remo Pinstripe Heads wih the Remo Muffl's in them...yeah theyre Maple drums and Premier drums tune REALLY high...almost like Timbales...it took me at least a week to get them to sound like that..what i did was tune the top head to the way i wanted them to sound and tune the bottom just enough to fill the sound up but avoid them sounding dead(on the strengh of the Muff'l Rings)at the same time...you cant really hear it in the video but they do ring a little bit after each hit

  • Hye nice job, I drum too, im not that good, i mostly make up my own stuff, i am going to be taking a Jazz Band in High school.
