Airlines that I have been on and I like:

1.Singapore:My sister had a birthday on our flight, and they gave her a piece of chocolate cake that wasnt on the menu.The flight attendants are awesome!

2.Aegean:Aegean is the best domestic Greek airline. The only problem with them is the flight attendants speak too fast in Greek.

3.Etihad:They (and the Virgin Group) need to join star! The best business class!

Varig was the best airline in the world. Unfortunatly, after the crisis, Varig is not the same. The service is horrible now and in a few years this company will desapear because Gol Airlines bought Varig. Now, TAM will represent Brazil at Star Alliance. You are welcome TAM!

The idea of an airline alliance is a win win situation (of course there must me millions of marketing, planning and legal issues behind the scenes) but for the passenger and the airline it provides more and I have benifited much from it and I do all I can to make my traveles withen this allience.

I wonder what are the eligibility criteria for an airline to apply/accpeted??

Personal wishes is to see Qatar Airways, Jet Airways, all "Virgin Brand" join star alliance.

The finest airline is Singapore airline!

its the only airline in star alliance who have a 5 stars status by sky track! and there are only 4 airlines who got this certificate ( Singapore airline , malaysia airline , Cathay pacific and qatar airways )

Asiana have very frendly F/A and is very confortable. But I must say nobody can compare Asiana with Singapore Airlines. I fly often in Asia for business and I always fly first class. The best service and the more confortable is Singapore Airlines, also the catering is fantastic.
