So, this is just a shot in the dark but, is there anyway of attaining this item or an item like it?
I am genuinely flabbergasted and, amazed by this... Mostly because, I know my limits and, building something like this is probably something that I would not be able to do...
Any information you could pass along would be greatly appreciated...
@CAPTAINXREY1701: It's possible but I wouldn't endeavor to try....entirely too much effort for a body that is as far off as that one is. You're better off buying the Roddenberry kit, while you can.
Very nicely done i think the only way it could be better (other than being a real one) is if it was fully touch screen, that might get a bit pricy though lol.
So someone cast a negative vote? Who do they think they're kidding??? Jealousy is a mother focker! Must be someone still living in mommies basement collecting unemployment checks! --- Hey Treknut, I'm sure you don't need any silly youtube votes here for reassurance to know that this Tricorder is the shasizzle! but I'll say it anyway, it is by far the best out there!
This is just amazing I can't even describe it such amazing work you did a fine job it must have cost a fortune to make it this is such fantastic work who noes how much money it would sell for
Wow, I'd buy one of these, it is the most sophisticated tricorder manufactured. it would be a privilege to own one. If you're taking orders, I'd love to place one. I'd imagine these to be a great investment. I guess your still testing for bugs.
That is an exceptional piece of artwork :) Loud Cheers from Australia.
Fantastic! Absolutley stunning! Blows away anything anyone else has ever done inlcuding Federation Surplus or Roddenberry! Will you be making these or was this a one time thing?
Wow! Someone finally did it. Let me guess, you used PICmicro chips, pressure switches, a cellphone LCD screen, and a whole lot of man-hours? You did exactly what I want to do, except....you have the knowhow. )-;
@MarkFilter: Secrets I'll take to my grave! :) but thank you for your kind words. I can tell you this, it isn't an MP3/MP4 player like others have used and not one component came from any off the shelf products. Here is a clue to its inner workings, it has over 700MB of data stored!
