My sammy, Arky (rip), used to sing to opera, she could also detect seizures or fainting spells. They do have an independent streak. but they're such happy, loving dogs and they're the cutest puppies EVER.

Samoyeds take a lot of work! They're high-energy so they need a lot of roaming room, they shed A LOT (like, brush them every day, get a ton out, and still need to vacuum every other day), and they're stubborn as hell and hard to train. Still, mine's a sweetie.

Please dont get a samoyed because of its looks...or you may be stuck with a dog your not able to keep up with. But if you know what your getting yourself into than all good! :D, Samoyeds are amazing.

The dog may be beautiful but its not for everyone. Please do lots and lots of research about Samoyeds before deciding to get one. This dog is especially not good for first time owners and requires patient and firm training. Samoyeds will not listen all the time ..they have a mind of their own AND this dog will try to outsmart you.

Before buying a Samoyed pup ask if the breeders smoke. Those toxins can possibly cause or add to genetic damage. Also it's unfair to subject these most special of canines to any avoidable fire hazard. People who set themselves up as morally superior and "keepers of the flame" in a breed, if known to be smokers, should be disregarded and not accorded any respect. Please don't smoke if you have pets, it's a disservice to these innocent trusting creatures. Going outside to smoke isn't enough.
