For all this people who never know about this game it is TOURIST TROPHY by the makers of GRAN TURISMO 4 (AND ALL SERIES) POLYPHONY DIGITAL!...and yeah has the same physics...

Note: i buy this on-line today...only on-line purchase at least here in Spain.

I think I figured it out you're using only the front brake once you get the bike leaned into a corner you just push the up arrow on the d-pad and use the front brake to shift all the weight on the front then shift up and gas it!

I could not actually power slide, just back it into a corner but not gas it up on the exit, you must be messing with the suspension set up severely.
