  • i luv how he can't quite over the crest (starting @ the 3:18 mark), backs down into the hole again, goes "bloody hell!"-and runs over the small tree beside the spot he just tried!

    take that you dirty hole!!

    xD

  • i didnt know land rover could make a bad ass vehicle

  • reminds me of the mud holes i put my samis through:)

    nice one bro

  • I need DEFENDER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • dude, they're called super swampers. I prefer the tsl sx, or the bogger. get those jobber tires off of that rig

  • I love how you kept the grill on the radiator in the rear :)

You could do with a steering guard, one badly placed rock in the water could ruin your day. Lovelvy sounding fender though mate :)

  • never stuck just high centered and lost traction. Amazing 4x4 beast

  • mud pluggin, cant beat it, Land Rover, best 4x4 by far . . . if I was sober I would be taking my 3.9 beast of a disco for a mud bath. . . .

  • What did this innocent car did to you guys ??? This is torture !

  • @zorkenator first of all..........it's a truck, you dumass!

second......how the fuck is this torture?!! the truck was built up from stock (which is still very capable of tackling more than most trucks) to perform @ this level.

get back in your Geo Metro, and go to the store to get some organic wheat thins to snack on!!

  • classy,we want in on the action

  • Damn! Bad ass rig! Thanks for posting!

  • AAAAWWEEESSSSOOOOOMME machine. cool vid!

  • buy a snorkel

  • @silowhore A snorkel? As-in "the big blue tube clearly visible up the passenger side of the vehicle" ? He's got one. Clearly...

  • Thats how u beat a shit box

  • That thing looks great, good work to who modified it, and to the driving was very good too.

I'll try do make the front of my defender look like that. I've digged my bumper in mud alot of times, eventhough my 90 is 5 inch raised.

  • nast land rover

  • Even though the steering wheel is on the wrong side that looked like an awesome toy to have. I envy the owner.

  • @thybigballs Steering on the right, drive on the left...? Nope, I don't se any problems.

  • the guy who laugh ridiculously...

  • @Diphot72 Yeah that's me... Careful.. :p

  • i think it would alot better if you had a snorkel

  • @dabomb20allo It's got one. Clearly...

  • @lansing9r tom´s ride is just great!

  • @lansing9r clearly his Honda doesn't have one. otherwise he'd know where to look for one.

  • Great vid! Subbed! Sub back? =D!

  • nice, i always thought these defenders looked badass...

  • Might I recommend some Super Swamper LTB's for that type of terrain?

  • haha good video

  • Surely those tires are rubbish? U need insa turbos!?

  • haha.... I love landy's. Great video mate

  • is it a manual? hate to be opening the clutch up in that mud

  • thumbs up if u noticed the steering wheel on the right side

  • do they not see it smoking or steaming or whatever???

  • @TheSundayScoop Water getting on hot engine parts. Let's call it "the exhaust"..... Vehicle was fine, just steam !

  • 0:35 Beavis and Butthead :-D

  • great clip that landies gott some serious power them off road weels are mental ,,awsome!... santa can i have one please..lol

  • no entiendo tu risa, pero bueno

  • Everything has its limits, but this car is amazing

  • Lansin9r is it this part noroads com/defender90/projects/distributor/DSC_0349 jpg

  • @Habbosdify Not seeing a workable URL in there.... ?

  • @lansing9r take space (replace) with a .

  • @lansing9r try: noroads.com/defender90/projects/distributor/DSC_0349.jpg (if you tube lets me paste this properly)

  • @aninka00 Yeah that worked. Megasquirt = no distributor. Google! ;-)

  • @Habbosdify No distributor at all, it's distributor-less. Megasquirt. Google for it :-)

  • @lansing9r Wish I got around to getting Megasquirt for my Mini sooner. One big puddle and she'd had enough, ha.

  • @minimoke8394 Ha.. Mine has been sitting in a box for 2.5 years, still not got round to fitting it ! Kinda lost interest...

  • how much horsepower does this thing have?

  • @Amk71839 Don't think Tom's had it dyno'd. But it's all about the torque for an off-roader. Low-down, the megasquirt has anti-stall and we played about driving it up some tricky tracks without touching the peddles. It never stalled once despite the wheels spinning...

  • how much horsepower does this thing have? and why was it smoking?

  • @Amk71839 Not smoke - steam. Hot exhaust+ water.... Engine never missed a beat. Runs like a clock.

  • @WiredTechnology Google maps, dude ;-)

  • @WiredTechnology Highlands, up near Inverness :-)

  • @SanctuaryShred I saw your "channel". Yes. You like loud music. We get it. You're "hard". The world is an annoying piece of shit between your toes and you don't care who knows it. I know I speak for everyone here when I say we're all impressed at how tough you talk. I never said you listened to Bieber. Nor mentioned your granny. That was someone else (hey, it's called "reading!").

I'm sure you're not the type who listens to Bieber in fact. I'm sure you'd rather slit your wrists. So slit away.

  • i thought it was a gud video..... v8 + mud + decent camer = 5 stars

  • @SpecialAndNotDumb Time on your hands? Or just a dumbass in general? ;-)

  • @SpecialAndNotDumb ps. You "have" an accent. You don't "make" one. When trying to indicate someone's stupidity, you'll find it helps re-inforce your point by drawing attention to your own. Here to help :-)

  • @SpecialAndNotDumb Oh... you and your comedy trolling ways!!! You're so very special! :D

  • @SpecialAndNotDumb Your handle should be reversed with comments like that. That defender may be a bit ugly but wow I'd take it any day with that kind of capability!!

  • @speedmonkey75 defender huh well thats a funny name

  • @SpecialAndNotDumb Are you 4 years old? What kind of argument is "defender huh well thats a funny name"? I rest my case. Youtube should start up an IQ quiz before you are allowed to sign up. Anybody with an IQ of lower than 75 shouldn't be allowed on here. That way at least then we won't see your brainless ass here again.

  • @SpecialAndNotDumb From somebody whose name is "SpecialAndNotDumb" to call somebody else stupid you must be the most self important tosser this side of Indonesia. And to answer your initial question: That is a Land Rover Defender 4.6 V8 in case you didn't SEE THE FUCKING NAME OF THE VIDEO.

  • Yank: " Uer Tuk R Jurb !!"

  • this is awesome truck. sure give some of them bloody reck neck amerikurn yeehaa muddin trucks a blast. Well i thought you had the truck well and truly stuck in that bomb hole. and you were playin all the time! hope you own a pressure washer. that truck is evil. winston churchill would be proud !!

  • this is awesome truck. sure give some of them bloody reck neck amerikurn yeehaa muddin trucks a blast. Well i thought you had the truck well and truly stuck in that bomb hole. and you were playin all the time! hope you own a pressure washer. that truck is evil

  • I hope that when you die, you come back as a hippo!

  • im not an expert, but wouldnt bigger tires do the trick?

  • @indomitusEvehementis no thats starting to get american n all stars n stripe flag stuff. dont need bigger tires

  • hi youre sitting on the wrong side, nice car

  • lav it

  • bravo

  • that things a tank!!! awesome!

  • needs more gooder tyres.

i don't know much about wide tyres, nor about UK availabilities, but simex make amazing 4x4 tyres which are extremely good in australian 4x4 comps.

  • @sovereign126 Nothing wrong with the tyres.. it was floating :-)

  • @sovereign126 we cant get the Simex tires in Canada or the U.S. , not D.O.T approved. I went with the Goodyear MTR-s...275/65/18 kevlars on my Disco. Its the closest thing to a Simex i could find. love the rear mounted radiator.

  • love it it's class! :) haha

  • I think I have decided upon my first car.

  • Very nice 90 - are those mudzillas hes got on, some size, must need some serious wheel spacers to fit those? I've seen them in action & they are the business, mega wide foot. Long live LR.

  • @TheBushcraftBoyz 37" Mudzillas. No spacers as far as I know !

  • beau les mickey thompson

  • beau les mickey thompson

  • what does mega squirt mean

  • @iiBraaad Google, my-boy ! Open-source fuel injection controlling system.

  • i really dont want to be the one washing these things

  • @mrbenyong the garden's still recovering! :)

  • Love it ,well done all :)

  • i think you have ruined the look of the defender abit by chopping the wings out! them tyres dont perform to good do they?

  • Not my truck, I like the look personally. Improves the departure angle. Tyres are superb, but that water was so deep I think it was floating a bit. Truck is unstoppable otherwise...

  • A nice truck, is that a rear mounted rad? if so did you have to fit a waterpump in line to make it work? Ps where was this place?

  • Tom will bring you up on the waterpump, but the place is an estate near Dingwall, in Highland. 20 mins from Inverness.

  • @offroadell stock waterpump, coolant piping is same diameter throughout to keep the flow.

  • good idea with the rad, does it ever get hot being there?

  • Offroad it's fine, never gets above normal. It runs a bit hotter on road than the normal position as less forced-air cooling but the fans kick in and do their bit
