Remember Christians, the will of God is no Catholic, Protestant,Orthodox, Penticostal, Adventist, JW, Etc. NO DIVISION, Only Christians, holy, helping and sharing instead of buying and selling.
"That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me." (John 17:9-21)
Thank you, for this...as a Vocational Director for teens, all who have watched this --a ZILLION times-- want to know if you have a Follow Up??? Did these lovely women become novices?? Are there new postulants??
I must agree, I feel like WHAT HAPPENED??!! God Bless your work!! Sr. Christina of The Dove
The Catholic Church is sacrificing something in its bid to be media savvy. The whole iPriest phenomenon suggests a little too much ego for me. iChat confessionals, on the way.
Still, young nuns are cute as they've always been.
Thanks for that. I love what the girls said about having the freedom during adoration to pray as their hearts are drawn. One thing I have tried to express to non-Catholic friends is that silence is not "dead air" as some seem to think, but the time that the Lord speaks to us personally.
Wonderful to see a young community growing, especially since they are praying for all the priests and seminarians around the world. I hear that this year they have at least one more postulant? Would you know anything more?
This rocks! I grew up in this parish in the 1980s and it was moribund. With these new sisters and the revival of the Latin Mass, I have great hope that things can be turned around.
You know what's kinda funny? Fr. Tom Betz O.F.M. Cap. is a Capuchin priest and is the Capuchin Vocations Director in the Province of St. Augustine and has never heard of the Capuchin Sisters of Nazareth. He is stationed in Philadelphia and never heard of them. The same state... yet he didn't know they existed.
its a shame they like most other communities in the US dont take older vocations....and its only in the USA that refuse older vocations....
i am returning to england to enter..where age never came into questions.....
the video was lovely ....and they look so happy

There are two new postulants. Last years four postulants are now novices and another novice in second year.
