My family came from a fascist state to the U.S. This does not mean that the U.S. own form of social control is better or worse, just different, and the approach to it must be diffierent than to a fascist one.

I was 8 years old when I went with my family to the WTO protest. I remember police beating a asian looking girl with clubs and bullets, she was kneeling down. ll we wanted to do was get out of town, but they wouldn't let us. They cornered us and shot at us. I was 8. My sister was 5. F***n jackasses!!!!

must also be understood that under capitalism, police only works to enforce the wishes of the ruling class (to prevent the workers from uniting and reclaiming what's theirs), so what is being rejected is the ruling class's army.

I think police should be allowed to use lethal action. People value humanitarianism too much and feel that they have a right to live. They take advantage of the fact that the government wants to spare lives and they want to spread violence and destruction. This riot was completely unnecessary. They are not fighting for better living conditions so basically, they're criminals.

Any violence on part of the demonstrators only helps supporters of WTO policies because the violence turns off most of the public, thus reducing popular support for opposing the WTO.
And in situations like mass demonstrations it is very easy to infiltrate and then act violently.

Violence needs to be organized to defeat a higher power, this was just rampant fucking shit up with no goal.
I don't know any corporation that posted loses from this, I do know of one small independent and "fair trade" business that went under because they lost too much money from having stock stolen and being jacked around by insurance companies.
