You actually made me laugh, it was quite funny to be that I was told I never "listened" Green Day since I've listened EVERYTHING they did. The thing is dumbass, I've been a fan of GD for much longer than you probably and know hell a lot of about them than you do. But I'm realistic at least, yes-I'm a fan but I'm also aware how crappy and un-punk they've become recently.

I'm not really an Offspring fan. I'm more of a Green Day and Rancid fan.. influenced by their influences. I never thought the Offspring was really punk rock.

But after reading that the album 'The Offspring' was produced by Thom Wilson, who produced the Dead Kennedys and Social Distortion and more, I decided to check out one of the songs from that album and that's 'Blackball'.

Well, now I know they do have some punk rock in them. ;)

Now, their last album would've been a thousand times better as an EP. Their attitude, sarcasm, and societal critiquing remain thoroughly intact, though... Listen to "Let's Hear it for Rock Bottom" and "Stuff/Shit is Messed/Fucked Up."

I would dissagree...The first 3 were punk to the bone...But Offspring were not just a punk band.They were a mix of grundge,metal,rock and punk in the early days...I listened to all albums a thousand times and I think they're great....The sound has changed but the lyrics remained powerful as before..
