must be some torque on that work peice for those clamps to hold down.

i have work with universal lathes and this video makes a big question in my head... how do you readjust the insert with the threAD if it accidentally breaks midway???

how do you check the pitch diameter, in the machine. because the three pin and micrometer method boggels my mind at 70"
