I own a 1970's Delta 88 Custom 455 Rocket Engine Oldsmobile, it's an intense car, and does even better burn outs than in this video. But that's not to say that this also isn't bad ass, I really enjoyed it. ;D
I have an 85 delta 88 royal brougham (spelling?) I bought it for 150 bucks. Had it for a few years now. Still running strong!! I also put a Dixie horn and a set of wheels on it ;-)
mine isnt, and i am offended that you would think so ive seen foreign cars in worst shape than Ive seen in America i drive an 83 Cadillac and there is no rust on it at all so before you open your mouth again to say stupid things like that, let me say this foreign cars arent better just smaller and my car WILL eat your car for breakfast

But U.S car are very slow...because are automatic, havy and there is other problems...an alfa romeo 75 2.0 is just a 2 litres but a big cadillac V8 is a 5 litres but stay back (sorry for the english i'm from italy)

My dad gave me his 1973 oldsmobile delta 88 for free, it has those massive 455 hp engines. Just one problem, no one turned it on for the past 13 years amd im going to revive it. Another problem, i know nothing about cars lol... too bad i really wanted to get it up and running, i just don't want to have a mechanic do it.
@CeeStyleDj: Well, the truth is, is that net ratings, especially when first introduced, were quite inaccurate. So, It probably had quite a bit more than 140. Try 180 or so.
i got an 84 delta 88 4door just like that. when i got it,it was a diesel5.7,when diesel wore out i converted to gas 403 single turbo 350 turbo trans 341 posi rear. with dual hush power flowmasters. try it with yours its worth it.

unfortunately, this one shown only has around 140 hp and 225 ft lbs.. give or take. That's how much the 307's put out then.

What a coincidence. After I sold my Delta 88, I gotta '91 Crown Vic 5.0, and that is a great one-of-a-kind too.
It's intersting that some other people here, either owned a Delta 88 and/or Crown Vic!
