I love this song and I love your version of it best. It's a lot more melancholic than most of the covers done by others. It really shows the emotion in the song not really expressed by others. Most people sing it in a sort of happy way, but it's one of the saddest songs I've ever heard. Even without vocals, this is my favorite version. Thank you so much for this. I really appreciate it. :)

Thank you Rupert, there are several tunings you can use such as the open G you mention or open D, or the Standard Dobro tuning I use here DBGDBG. I will have to get back to the Lap Steel though.
