All J.S. Bach wanted to do (aside from raising his 18 children), was to praise God through his music. And now, 261 years after his death, you are helping him do just that. For what it's worth, I think about that when I practise and perform his music. It's inspiring. Best wishes.
Is this your own interpretation? It is fantastic! I was going to try and interpret it myself from a score written for organ, but it would be much easier if I could just find tabs for it.

Oh, you're so good! Made me miss my acoustic guitar. :( It's been broken when I moved and now I'm only with the electric one. But your playing made me happy too! Thank you!!!
good technique! but agreed, more legato. plus, your bass note needs to stretch longer. a little bit more expression too? but great technique and great thrills.
Felicitaciones !!!!! bravo!!!! tu técnica , matices , e interpretación son excelentes , esa pieza suena muy bien en tu guitarra y pienso que a bach le hubiera encantado
Wow seems like a complicated piece to play. To be honest I wasnt that pleased with it though. One critique point of mine would be that the rhythm "stumbles" after every trills he does, try to listen to it and you will hear. Still I am not sure I could do that so I better shut up haha
yes of course you are entitled to express your opinion...but look at him closely, he is really trying his best......and he was so sweet to share it with us all! thanks koseikubota!
very nice playing. what's important...after all technical stuff has been resolved. You now play with your heart. I have to say, after a year or many months. i still recall your version of this piece. Heartfelt and light. Congratulations!
it depends on alot of things, but there is no "correct" tempo. usually on the piece of music, it says how many bpm there should be, and that is the tempo it should be played at, but many times, it is up to the players discretion
You have a very sweet touch. The thrills are very clear and refreshing, and the inner choral voice shows a lot of distinguishable work, and /or effort.
Es maravillosa la manera en la que este chico interpreta en la guitarra esta exquisita pieza del maestro Bach!!! Genial, es hermoso el sonido que produce, fenomenakl, excelente trabajo.
on another note, i have a joke for you: how many classical guitarists does it take to change a lightbulb? 1 to do just fine and 10,000 others to say they could have done better! lol your a good musician
very well done friend! as personal critique, i would have sustained the melody a tad longer, in order for the notes to reach there full value. however, everyone has different interpretations:) post more vids

I wrote that song back in 1993 after getting wasted in Wicker Park. I walked around Halstead playing it on a ukelele as I composed simultaneously shouting "sleepers awake! sleepers awake g*d*mmit!"
Hi Kosei! Loved it the way you played wish i play like you do it. While i live in Dresden i heard this Bach stuff played on Currants every Saturday morning. Harsh suppose to be very difficult stuff transformed to guitar on dynamics approche. Great work ! AsGoodAsItGetsVidas
god, the way you do those slurs is incredible. And the fact that you actually have this whole, complicated, very intricate piece, memorized...most amazing...one day I hope to achieve this level of expertize.
Nice! this is a very difficult piece. I like how you bring out the chorale melody. you also played more ornaments than my version. I'm not trying to advertise but I'd like to know what you think of mine.
wonderfull!!

Very fine rendition of Bach's Chorale, how do you interpret the trill in measure 7.

Is there a correct tempo for a classical piece? Is it an illusion that I sometimes find faster tempos better than slower or vice versa?
Plz someone explain it to me.

Is 'Sleepers Awake' the name adapted for the guitar version of the song? I thought the name of this was 'Awake, A Voice is Calling'?
I could be wrong.
