nice voice, but the interpretation of that character was all wrong. I didn't feel the "emotion" that was meant to be there. Also towards the end, she sped up at times too fast for what was needed. I think she was trying for IMPACT but instead of being dramatic she sped up and lost the timing a couple of times. She does have a pretty voice though, with some proper training it can be improved. Perhaps some acting direction to put in the feeling the song needs?

How would you act if you just realized that you're dying and not going to see your child grow up or your love return? and that accompaniment is atrocious, try to get a hold of the MTI score, and copy that for some REAL accompaniment, right now someone is obviously playing off of the vocal selections (which has the vocal line in the piano part) and not doing a very good job, it is VERY plunky.

I suspect that the 'plunkiness' stems from the fact that most camcorders reproduce the piano sound very badly. Despite what you say about the edition being used, this recording doesn't appear to me to have the vocal line present in the accompaniment.
