Fourth, (as someone else stated) the present system governmental health programs such as Medicare are in general the least restrictive in approving questionable procedures, devices, care decisions, etc. These restrictions are much more commonly seen in the PRIVATE HMOs. Private health plans, which primarily care about profits, is where the real risk of denied care is, now and in the future.
Third, this would only apply - if it even is true, which we have no proof - to someone with a government health plan. No one says you have to get a government health plan. Don't want it, fine, get a private one. Your choice.
Second, this has NOTHING to do with "Obamacare". Obamacare does not make decisions like this - it just regulates the insurance industry and provides affordable insurance options. In fact, it INCREASES coverage, not decrease. It "reforms certain aspects of the private health insurance industry and public health insurance programs, increases insurance coverage of pre-existing conditions, expands access to insurance to over 30 million Americans" according to Wikipedia.
First of all, this is hearsay. Just someone making a claim they can't back up.
This guy went to a "seminar" run by whom? who told him things to they want him to believe to serve the interests of the people running the seminar. All from mysterious documents that no one has a copy of. If they did, it would be all over the internet.
@lhw4 Good point! As it turns out it was a hoax. The caller, in my opinion, seemed a little unsure of himself at times. When Mark asked him if it was published he stated, with hesitation, "yeah." C'mon, if it's in a bill then it is published. In any event, the AANS( American Association of Neurological Surgeons) refuted the caller in a statement on their website. aans.org under legislative activities, you'll see the statement entitled: AANS Statement on Mark Levin Radio Show
