Generic maybe , but there is something to be said about having a stripped down roots sound. So many bands are trying so hard to be techie and "different" these days resulting in all of them sounding the same . I like this because its honest and raw.Its rare to hear that in a new band.I also dig the fact that she doesn't turn into a "girl" in the "chorus" and get all "all that remains" about it .
