My husband and I hiked to the falls in August, 2010. Almost missed them. Started across the bridge and a train came by while I was hanging onto a steel girder. I happened to glance over my shoulder and spied the falls. No signage. Just look to your right about 50 feet before you wouldstep onto the trestle bridge. Better directions are posted on the video from "miragesound09" youtube.com
Thank you for this wonderful video. I'm a native of Oregon and a long time waterfall chaser. I've seen thousands of beautiful waterfalls all over the Northwest, but Mossbrae absolutely stands among the best. If we're traveling through the area we always stop in Dunsmuir and take the hike up the tracks to see this beautiful wonder of nature.
That is absolutly Beutiful Snuffy Ive never seen anything like that and right next to the tracks I wouldnt wanna leave!! Sit there and make potash all year(he he he) Thanx Brendan
These falls are beautiful! Maybe there should be a real trail in order to access this area without trespassing RR property. BTW it's nice seeing UP #951!
@singwith I know. I just meant that UP should make a trail for visitors so that they don't have to worry about tresspasers. Or, now that you mentioned it, maybe they should have a special sight-seeing train for people who want to see the falls!
Raspberries? Missed those. We were there in August - too late for the berries?

The water is so deep; I was just there and could see the boulder I sat upon. Wondering what time of year this was taken?
