you dont have a bad voice at all, but i think it would do you better to have a little less vibrato, and you tend to start every syllable soflty, and then increase in the volume.

I have always loved this song. It always brings some tears to my eyes just thinking of old memories. Scotty was truly talented as a musician and songwriter. Didn't he also write "Have I Told You Lately That I Love You"? Or did his wife Lulu Belle write it? That song is a true favorite of just about all musicians I have found. John - no I am not a home recordist. Lucky world. LOL. All of my singing is just done in church now and sometimes at high school class reunions or family ones or our American Legion post with my sis.
