Miss Alfonso was simply the singer who performed it. Much like the group Blondie. Debbie Harry was identified as the Blondie. Like Miss Alfonso was known as the Sampaguita. The truth is that Sampaguita is a band and not a person. It is Gary Perez contribution to Pinoy Rock not Miss Alfonso you should be honoring.
