No the OFICIAL release for the game is in 1/14/08. Which is january the 14. What it means from log on the 27 (also my birthday =P) is the last beta test

The beta is released in fall but the full game got pushed back to the end of the year.

Its free till a certain level. So in the beginning it will be free but then if you want to get to a higher level and such it will cost some money. Im not sure of the price but it sounds like a monthly fee.
