I love Fireflight, and for the last year, I have found myself feeling so lifted while forgetting that they are a Christian band. I can tell that they are very devoted to God, but their music doesn't shove that down your throat, which is why I love this band.
@kosovagirl54321 Most Christian music isn't overtly religious. It usually doesn't involve cursing and the themes tend to match those lauded by the Church - love your neighbour, thou shalt not kill, that kind of thing. Really, its usually not much different from other music :)

This song had my name written all over it! I felt that way a lot about Jesus. I knew that I loved him and He for me, but I just couldn't shake away the feeling of trying to fit in with my atheist family/friends! :( I know I have to live my own life and love and do what makes me happy.

@kosovagirl54321 I am pretty agnostic. I do attend various church services now and then, but I am not much of an active person in any of them. I love Fireflight, and for the last year, I have found myself feeling so lifted while forgetting that they are a Christian band. I can tell that they are very devoted to God, but their music doesn't shove that down your throat, which is why I love this band.

@kosovagirl54321 Most Christian music isn't overtly religious. It usually doesn't involve cursing and the themes tend to match those lauded by the Church - love your neighbour, thou shalt not kill, that kind of thing. Really, its usually not much different from other music :)

It doesn't matter if you're christian or not- Music is hear to entertain, send out message, whatever. Music is never restricted to be listened to by one religion. Ever. So stop saying that you're not christian/catholic/whatever but you love this band. You can be any religion and still love a band.

@StellarMiracle the lyrics usually include a christian message, which can be kind of annoying to some. the music sounds very good, but the lyrics are what people are complaining about. it's not a matter of what they believe in, but what they sing about. a Christian band sings about Christianity, that's the definition of a christian band. just saying if your not a regular church goer there must be a reason for that if you dont like one church/ denomination try another. (baptist/pentecostal ) some churches are traditional with the glass windows and the organ, others are modern with a drum kit and guitar. please remember, Christianity is not a religion, its a relationship with God :D

Just so you know that it is not written that all female lead bands are Christian, :-)... But either way, imo, Fireflight is still a fantastic band!!

@xxNomNomgirlxx You just really have to listen to the lyrics..What I'm getting from this song is that shes talking to Satan saying that she knows that he really wants and needs God but by pretending that he doesn't exist is just making his life a lot harder..this is just what I got... I'm a Christian and I can find a spiritual meaning in almost all of their songs..for an easier song to interpret listen to their song called For Those Who Wait..it can have many meanings,not all of them religious:D

Just because this is a christian group doesn't mean that people of other religions/beliefs should not listen to them or hate the music. I'm not christian but this band is amazing! It's feel good music and sounds awesome with lyrics that, to be honest, can have a religious meaning to them but also non-religious meaning if you know what i mean. lol :P they're good no matter what. i think the fact that so many of us...who are not religious...love this music is a testament to the simple power of a good band... a good voice and very good songs...even though i dont believe in christian doctrine..( or any other doctrine for that matter)...i do feel an affinity for people who seek a hand to hold onto in this big scary jungle that we live in...:)

This song had my name written all over it! I felt that way a lot about Jesus. I knew that I loved him and He for me, but I just couldn't shake away the feeling of trying to fit in with my atheist family/friends! :( I know I have to live my own life and love and do what makes me happy.

I am so not a christian, but I AM a lifelong musician. I don't understand all these negative religious comments. It shouldn't matter what different people believe in, it's all about the music! The members of Fireflight may have different beliefs than I do, but they are an incredible bunch of artists!! The song writing, music arrangement, and performance is just great! And that's all that truly matters. Two huge thumbs up from me!! Great job guys!! :)

Ok so everyone here is debating on god and stuff but do you want to know why there's no end to it it's because there's no proof and yes i believe in god but the bible is just a book i mean anyone can write one so there's no proof at all and so will y'all stop debating and think a bit forcing someone to believe is practicly "evil" or what ever you call it just let people believe what they want it's their chose not yours!
