Certainly I can see that Bluetooth is convenient if you don't want cables and wires running everywhere, but it's far easier to commect the braille display to the Mac with USB, besides I assume that when you connect the braille display to the Mac, the Mac will recharge the battery in the braille display. It's so great that Apple has added braille support to the Mac for those who need it, and the best thing is they support lots of braille displays.
