Her performance in Judgment At Nuremberg is one of her best performances ever on film as an actress. She did not have to sing a note of music to perform as she did in this film. She got her second Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actress in this film. Truly amazing to watch as her plunges into the psychological depth of her character who was a victim of racism and prejudice in the time of Hitler's Germany.
This clip demonstrates what an intelligent woman Judy Garland was: It is eloquent, thoughtful, and insightful - she expresses herself very coherently. Puts paid to all those who keep on and on and on about Judy basically being an alcoholic drugged-up wreck.
@hirchik i agree 110 %... and I doubt she was all these things some said she was... she was very witty, smart and fun person... yes she had a problem with prescription medication but many of her celebs friend had said she was not an alcoholic at all she drink just like everyone else and i believe that... I admire her.
I thought she would never shut up.

sham trial..... farce.......witch hunt--------ex post facto. Shameful. Unjust. Despicable. True tyranny. Bearing false witness. Defendants not allowed a proper defense. Senator Taft called the proceedings "a farce". True witch hunt. Dresden, Hamburg, Nemmersdorf, Cologne--the allies murdered millions of German civilians. PurimFest 1946.

Oh thanks, I'd never heard this interview before. Wonderful film. Judy would have been 88 years old today!

She is my favorite person to ever live.
No one understands it. I feel like I KNOW her. It's weird.
But I truley feel connected to her somehow.
