  • Its a Johannus Opus organ. Think they are about 12k or something in the USA

  • Oh no its a Studio II organ. I think they only sell them in th UK.

There is a Johannus on ebay for $13k which is an excellent organ!

  • It totally sounds like a real organ! Magnificent performance. If only you could now do the first part? :)

  • 5 stars for You

  • I certianly enjoyed the performing. A so good one, no doubt, simple and clear. I could figure up the voice at the same time and the relaions between sounds. A very good one interpretation. Thanks a lot

  • Hobbyplayer is way better than looots of versions over here by "professionals" Keep it up !

  • Very good interpretation! excellent.

  • everyone has the right to interpret and play the way he or she wants..... good job, thanks, wish i could come close to it!

  • and I suppose certain people would have been very unimpressed with Bach himself, in his day, for using his thumbs in the ways we do now. Heels or no heels, very good playing indeed! really enjoyed it!

  • Heels! Grr.

  • Heels! Grr...eat!

  • o o o o o what ashame the organist is using heels.... come on... don't be so childish. Everyone has is own technique.... Nice playing 5 points.

  • if you read Peter Williams book on Bach (bkIII) you will actually find that it IS possible that Bach intended the use of heels in his music. Especially when slurring pedal notes!! Give it a read you might be have a less jaded view on the use of heels.

  • mooi gespeeld! Beautiful playing...... very beautiful!

  • So, the most difficult piece to play, requiring the most exact timing and coordination, would be Bach's organ piece the Toccatta and Fugue in C Minor... And too bad it must be true, as so few ever bother to post their attempts at it on YouTube... :[

  • Please show us the ENTIRE piece, as there is a COMPLETE LACK of worthy renditions of it on youtube, if there are any AT ALL... By the way, this segment was VERY nicely done. Precision is the key to Bach, precise timing, which is generally true of music generally, organ music generally, counterpoint especially, passacaglias specifically, and Bach MOST especially. Not that I'm an expert, but that seems to be the trend.

  • nejatarn: maybe there's a lack of full versions of this because it takes longer than 10 minutes, which for many is their limit on vid posts here.

  • oh, I suppose. This IS about a 13 minute piece. Even if played at a fast tempo it is over 10 minutes. :P Surely, it could get an exception!

  • That's right. I tried to post the full version, is was too big!

  • Great song and well played too.

  • Well done. And a fine alternative to the average church organ, which is very expensive to install in one's very expensive castle anyway ;-)

  • Excellent performance, please post some more of bach's organs works

  • Very good performance of this very difficult work

  • wow...very nicely done.

  • How much was that organ?

  • Great playing! Hoping to hear more Bach of yours.

  • Which organ is this?

  • It's a Johannus Studio II

  • what does something like that cost ?

  • 3.7oo €

  • Profi-mäßig gespielt! Schade, hast Du keine Kirchenorgel auf der Du spielen kannst?
