When I was young I would walk up to 'edges'; roofs, high walls, cliffs. Like the owls shown launching from the branch before spreading their wings.....I wanted to launch. It really was a hard urge. Guess I wasn't so young I didn't notice my lack of wings. Those who believe in reincarnation say you return to fulfill your last desire. (I might be making that up!) Free flight! I've never skydived. Hang glided. Sail planed. If 'your last desire' is the rule, I fear I will be a chicken. SNAFU! is
@un42n8karma the norm in the world. I have no reason to think the 'cosmic' is different! "Dude wants to soar like an eagle!" "Check! Wants to be a bird!" "Check! Chickens are birds!" "Check! Chicken it is!" "Check!" "Chicken it is!" "Check!" Ah well. Chickens do fly. Wasn't what I had in mind. Owls launching before they spread their wings brought it all back. Launching into the void. Too sweet! Chickens are also fascinating. Guess I'll make peace with the next incarnation.
dude, did you bait the footage by having dead rodents placed for the owls etc to get a better shot of the hunt?
just curious because there was never a visible trail in the snow ( i know a rodents tracks would hardly be visible in snow at that distance without the perfect angle of sunlight) but they also didnt ever seem to even flinch or move slightly?
anyways it was a great vid and the cinematography was excellent
dudes want a really good song to play while watching this, look up fatboy slims, bird of prey song and start it when this video starts, the fit perfectly togeather.
Absolutely Beautiful. This film epitomises and dramatically showcases the pure and resonant splendour of Birds of Prey. You paired the footage with the enduring voice of Jim Morrison's lament, his telling of the very same appreciation and reverance for these majestic birds.Without doubt, these birds are spiritual creatures, acutely aware of thier integral role in the synergy, and balance of nature.Thier presence is somewhat supernatural, beauty with such grace and intelligence. True Art in Motion
You should falconry in USA,,Great for US Falconry Birds Lovers.,So the population keep growing too,,,The birds will be much more healthier...on the wild they just last 10 years,,,If you falconry they will last 30 years...its a shame...***The Human Ignorance ***..these birds never get domesticated,,,they stay wild,,,they just get tamed..if you decide to let them go they will survive....you just helping them,,THINK BIG USA.~~~~
Yes there are many birds of prey in the Dominican Republic including the critically endangered Ridgesway's Hawk. There are also Red Tailed hawks, American Kestrels, Merlins, Barn Owls and a couple more.

Beauty, elegance, emotion in this movie magic in the camera technology shows us the flexibility of these beautiful birds in this eternal nature. Very nice video demonstration of sensitivity ... Merci pour le partage.
