@bulldogrj5020 i do get it. we went there to help them, we went there to bring food and medical supplies to the somali people and instead of accepting it they shoot down our helicopters and kill our soldiers and drag their bodies through their dirty streets. i get it very well. let them stay there and die by themselves. we'll be wasting good money and american lives going back lets just give it to people who will actually accept it. and obviuoly they have enough money 2 buy guns
@thegrimreaper541 we went in to help the people yes we did, WE FOUGHT A WARLORD, we knew we would encounter resistance, we didnt expect it to be that heavy. The people were not shooting us, people on Mohammed Farrah Aidid's payroll and who followoed him were shooting us. o and by the way Somalia is a cold war weapons dump.
the usa lost this battle...the sad thing is they lost heroes like gordon and shughart only to pull out.....why send them in at all.....they should have regrouped and went in and flattened that stinking hole of a city and all the vermon that lives in it.......these muslims talk about god and then drag a naked dead man through the streets,,,,,,,scum.
Hey MrPilawa...thanks for the post. Probably the same outcome "out-gunned out manned no time left to leave" As I wrote in this very special song. Botton line it was a situation where the Rangers and Delta did the best they could with what they had.
@warero the US never declared war on Vietnam so we didnt loose. the mission in Somalia was a NATO operation and was a success. the war in Iraq was a success and the war in Afghanistan is being won by a mudslide by the US. you cleary have no idea what you are talking about and must be a terrorist for supporting the NVA, SLA, Taliban, and Al Queda. if you stand against the US then you can step in front of the bullets our brave men and women shoot at you.
@killetrocitystick there are over 200,000 women in the US armed forces all of which could kick the living shit out of you. just shut the fuck up no one likes you

Hi Chase, no I am not an army ranger. I am a non professional song writer and performer. I wrote this song as a tribute to the Battle of Mog. I know some soldiers over there and about a year ago I was asked by one of them to write this song. I wrote and played this song about 10 different ways and finally settled on this version. I have many others but rank this one as one of my best.
my heart goes to the familys of the 19 casulties. god bless them. my dad found me a desert tan plate carrier at a garage sale with the name Twombly on it. specialist, 4th class, lance twombly. he was a ranger in the fight who made it out. i dont know if its his or not but i decided to dupicate his outfit to help honor and remember those who died. Good thing we are not to come there and again if not I will Nuked them all to death.
My cousin was in this fight adn for the guy who made this video i want to say thank you.. This was a beautiful video adn even though i dont know you i wanna say thank you
