its the pin on the diferential getting ready to blow thru that case behind the driver side wheel next to tranny pan. about the size of a half roll of dimes. from rocking in the snow while stuck or slamming into gear alot or just slippage
@BerkLeeDrm I do rock the van a lot during snow in Chicago , So that makes sense. This video is 3 years old and no problems with the transmission yet thankfully. Except the snow , I drive very calm. Thanks for the info.
@utkanf I had a hole thru the case, driving way up to VT.and I kept saying ,do you hear sound like a wrench tapping fast? Loud at 70 mph.I let a friend use it he drove like a maniac, hole thru case . fluid everywhere.Look under battery at connectors. Are they all white from corrosion and evry connector has the electrical tape backed off you can see colored wires at connectors? Not good.Lots of water, snow. My wires on indorr speakers are bigger than the wires connecting tranny componenets
@dan8852 lol true, I only have one cause I got it cheap through my dad, has had no major issues as a car except for one person to drive it around, it eats gass :(
@dan8852 ha ha, I got 2 15 inch kicker cvx subs in mine, 2000 watts rms, it bangs, and all upgraded mids on a kicker amp. Its the Pimpin' van, with a giant kicker windshield decal, I will have to get some videos up eventually, once I get my evo 4g I can
the whining noise is normal thats just the nature of them trannys. as far as the clicking and kind of loose noise going into gear, check the cv axle nuts. those can loosen up over time and cause that noise. fixed many "transmission noises" with just that.
It's just the solenoids clicking in your solenoid pack. The dif pins slipping out were corrected in 2001

Its nothing more than the sound of the worst transmissions ever made. Chrysler's.

I agree. After the transmission oil change, it's been better

@dan8852 only if you use the wrong tranny oil, you need to use ATF+4
