About banning the burqa, well, in my opinion the right step. in turky even hejab is not alloud in schools and universetys. Why are they choosing it? You don't know why. People don't choose to wear a body suit in summer heat. Those who do "choose" do so because it is part of laws that have been established that deem it a woman's duty to wear the suit as the men who established the laws see fit. It is embedded, it is not a choice.
Catholics do communion because it is part of the catholic tradition, it doesn't matter if it is in Vatican City or elsewhere. It is not a "choice" as you think.

The burka is not Islamic,but cultural. In fact,I can't quote where it say's in the Qur'an right now,but it says the hands and the face of a woman should be shown.Not hidden. One of my sister's wears it because she doesn't want the sun to tan her already olive complexion. She wants her skin to be a lighter tone. She try's to justify it in a religious way,but has admitted that she wears it so the sun won't tan her skin.

It's a CHOICE,NOT mandated in the Qur'an..It say's in the Qur'an that a womans FACE and HANDS should be SEEN. The hijab covers the head and neck,the jilbab covers the body. In Denmark, they have something called FREE SPEECH, where they're allowed to print a cartoon whether you agree with it or not. Good for Denmark for expressing free speech.
