Amen *applause*...what you just wrote there about doctors without borders will inspire me to rethink my actions FAR more than what I saw in the video. It's such a simple gesture, one that most would not think of doing themselves. But this "poetic" retelling of mankind's ills only makes me roll my eyes lol.
Oh, and shit is biodegradable...in fact, the shit of many animals is rather useful. Disgusting, but useful lol. :)
This is not the first time that a culture has destroyed its environment, but this time we may destroy it for all beings, for all time.
The Permian Extinction (250 million years ago) was as a result of Global Warming. The warmed oceans emitted methane hydrate (from solid undersea deposits) and 95% of life perished.
NINETY FIVE PERCENT.
We don't need no steengkin bomb to destroy ourselves. We just need to keep on doing what we're doing....
Why does everyone think we are destroying the planet? Isn't it obvious that we are pissing the planet off? We do not possess an ounce of power to destroy it.
Why worry so much? Global warming will cause methane to rise from the depths of the oceans and kill most life. Earth will renew and go on with out us. Don't worry about it. Check the fossil record. It happened once. It'll happen again. We're just speeding up the process ^_^

parallel latitudes, hindu iconography, but the original impulse is simply to promote eco cide: the relentless ruin of our paradise by profit. of course the planet is saved or fixed by society, but why should the industrialists responsible for mother nature's destruction not pay for her repair? it will be you and me who pays the price!
"Fat Man," the Nagasaki Nuclear Bomb - weighed 10,265 lbs. 143,000 people were killed by "Fat Man." That's about 1.15 ounces of bomb per dead person, or about the same weight as six M-16 bullets (rounds).
It's also about the same weight, per kill, as six US Quarters.
Something to think about next time you use a vending machine.
I find it interesting that the images of the beginning of your piece are from Los Angeles burning. Hollywood is at the same latitude as Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Call it vidshui.
The purpose of a fish trap is to catch fish, and when the fish are caught, the trap is forgotten. The purpose of a rabbit snare is to catch rabbits. When the rabbits are caught, the snare is forgotten. The purpose of words is to convey ideas. When the ideas are grasped, the words are forgotten. Where can I find a man who has forgotten words? He is the one I would like to talk to.

In my country (USA) there is a lot of violent crime, and pretty much all of it is committed by blacks, including rapes and robberies. So basically, you can break it down like this:
The committee for the Manhattan Project felt Kyoto, as an intellectual center of Japan, had a population "better able to appreciate the significance of the weapon."
Hiroshima was chosen because of its large size, its being "an important army depot" and the potential that the bomb would cause greater destruction because the city was surrounded by hills which would have a "focusing effect".
"...The might that now converges on Japan is immeasurably greater than that which, when applied to the resisting Nazis, necessarily laid waste to the lands, the industry and the method of life of the whole German people. The full application of our military power, backed by our resolve, will mean the inevitable and complete destruction of the Japanese armed forces and just as inevitably the utter devastation of the Japanese homeland..."
"...We call upon the government of Japan to proclaim now the unconditional surrender of all Japanese armed forces, and to provide proper and adequate assurances of their good faith in such action. The alternative for Japan is prompt and utter destruction."
By August 1945, about 60 Japanese cities had been destroyed through a massive aerial campaign, including massive firebombing raids on the cities of Tokyo and Kobe.
The U. S. Dept of Energy estimates that the death toll at Hiroshima from the immediate blast was roughly 70,000, with additional deaths occuring in the time soon after the explosion and in the decades that followed.
On August 6, 1945, the nuclear weapon "Little Boy" was dropped on the city of Hiroshima, followed on August 9, 1945 by the detonation of the "Fat Man" nuclear bomb over Nagasaki.
I find it interesting that the images of the beginning of your piece are from Los Angeles burning. Hollywood is at the same latitude as Hiroshima and Nagasaki. That's good vidshui.
