RMK VX is much better in everything BUT the combat, as in what is standard. I have no scripting knowledge, only story, mapping, and designing. Any tutorials that are GOOD?

Well, the demo that I downloaded is currently down so I can't help you there.

As for the background, you need a script for that. The one i'm using was made by Moghunter. You can get it at his website. atelier-rgss,com

What you should do instead of having scrolling names is have smaller font for the names and stats so they can all fit on the HUD.

It's a script called "Battle Background" by Moghunter. It came with the demo of the battle system. The background image is made by sinvang. You can find the demo and image at rpgrevolution.
