If you have a mechanical brain rovers a quite easy to work on. Now LR3's and Range Rovers are tough, but how many of those do you see off road? Defenders and Discos can EASILY be fixed if you know what you're doing.

i've seen many and many landrovers go to competitions with spare axles, diffs, etc, full of spares because they brake down.
Remember that in the desert you see only toyotas.. however think it your way.
