The US is not their sole aim and it is not the most important thing to them, although they do have millions of fans across the US and did a tour last year in America. Their most recent album was translated into English and is selling all over the world. They are the biggest band in Germany and France, and many other European countries.
They have unfortunately not quite broken into the UK market, but that's not a big thing for them. They are rich, famous and happy at the age of 19, so I don't think they're worried too much by this.

Not sure what your level of education is but if the American accent is unoriginal to you that must mean that we sound more british? The way we speak English very original especially where I live here in the south. The main reason we lag behind other nations is our huge minority popluation, among whites we are near the top. In fact, Scotland deserves a much larger minority population especially for its role in the African slave trade. Look it up, its a fact!

No, all American accents sound common and nasty. British accents are all very different and each have different traits. America, as one of the largest (not just in size but in economy) continents in the world, should be miles ahead of all other countries in education systems, regardless of minority population.
Britain had a ruthless slave trade in America, but we are aware and no-one alive today was involved with that. It has nothing to do with intelligence or accents.

The US is not their sole aim and it is not the most important thing to them, although they do have millions of fans across the US and did a tour last year in America. Their most recent album was translated into English and is selling all over the world. They are the biggest band in Germany and France, and many other European countries.

We Edinburgh-ians HATE the festival!! Everything is twice the price, there is (literally) twice the number of people, and you have to queue (!) to get a bus sometimes! Not to mention the fact that even moving in the centre of town is impossible because of the sheer number of darn tourists.
Men - beware walking anywhere wearing a kilt (not that Scottish people actually wear kilts on a regular basis) as tourists will sniff you out with their cameras!
