I can't believe how angry people get when faced with the FACT that alternators really do put out more electricity than it takes to run a vehicle and keep the lights on. This guy is just using that excess to run the torch instead of putting it to work in the engine.  Great video.

@amishnation Wow, I hope you know that the more electrical load that is on an alternator the more mechanical load is on the engine. Yea I could get an alternator to put out enough electricity to power a separate car with HHO but I would be consuming a TON of gas to do that. There isn't free energy in HHO don't be fooled by all of the hoaxes out there.

@legogunguy001 ....it isn't "free energy"..all we are doing is separating the water, and using it efficiently...most people don't understand the "HHO Molecule"....this is more than just hydrogen and oxygen people.

@Rain4Fuel HHO isn't a molecule, it is a stoichiometric mixture of 2 gasses, oxygen and hydrogen. Look up electrolysis. Splitting water molecules by means of electrolysis has been known since 1800.

@HFLabs nah man. Just straight up and raw. Only controls are on the torch. I sold that truck, but still have the 300 amp alternator that made it all possible and the big units. I only had 21 plates for this video, pushing 200 amps through it with a ton of KOH. Pushed out 14 LPM.

i use an oxy acetylene torch that can cut 4 times faster than this.

@iminyourbasement uh, ya possibly with 10 times the fuel, then again, hydrogen is ATOMIC in nature.. so I don't think this torch is running proper. HHO torch is dependant on what the flame is on.. aka lame scrap iron less heat then if you touch tunsten... my torch turn tunsten to vapour, in my 20 years of fitter/welder the only comparable thing I think is a plasma cutter, or heliarc, and that spitls molten steel everywhere.

you are so closed in welding cutting process like adding air which is oxygen..in oxyacetylene... while hho is a ready mix..

actually, the air or oxygen is only to remove the slag...to start the cut, oxygen should not be used....only to blow away slag

Wit the standard oxy acetylene setup, the oxygen actually burns (oxidizes) the metal. That is what generates the slag. Oxygen and fuel are mixed and come out of the outside holes on the tip and once heated sufficiently you depress the handle and pure oxygen is forced through the center hole to create the oxidation process and blow away the slag.

As an example, try to burn stainless steel. It will not burn with oxy acetylene because it will not readily oxidize.

More or less, but if this was completely the case, then the cuts using oxy acetylene torches would not oxidize further and rust. Rusting does not happen on the smooth cuts made by HHO gas, due to the oxidizing flame.

whether using oxyacetylene or HHO, you need a constant flow of oxygen (otherwise you have a useless miniature flamethrower). The oxygen increases the heat of the flame to facilitate cutting. Oxygen "bursting" uses the pressure of the oxygen itself to blast away slag.
