my black lab is just over a year old, almost a year and a month, he still thinks ice are treats, he'll sit, paw, other paw, lay down, speak, jump, ill put the ice down and tell him to stay, and he wont get it till i say go get it boy! just for 1 ice cube :D!

the animal doctor ppl say i hav a black lab but mines doesnt look lik 1 it looks lik a black german sheperd but it has a white stripe on his stomach but when we took him 2 the doctor they just said its a black lab cuz its the closest thing to him

@Dameeda not true, there can be "mismarked" labradors with tan or white markings on them, they're just very rare. so it doesn't HAVE to be mixed w a border collie....

My lab puppies love to play with ice too, one time they had this waterbowl that was outside and it froze so when we got outside they were treating it like they were trying to throw for each other to catch. It was the shape of a frisbee. Labradors are so cute!

labs are the best, i have literally had them since i was a baby, Shadow, and i was heartbroken when he ran away. now i have Haylee, shes a lab mix, and she is the sweetest dog i have ever known. have had her for 9 years and she has never bitten anyone. although with her puppy Archie it is quite a different story, lol. he loves standing on me and biting on me.

My yellow lab Lucy who is now 9 years old would chase after ice cubes when she was a puppy. Now she just chews them up. When she was a puppy she would pounce on them, and they would slip out of her paws and shoot across the floor and she would keep chasing it. Now she will swim after tennis balls for hours.
