How times have Nadal beaten both Federer and Djokovic to win the same Grand Slam? He always seems to get the easier path with Murray in almost every tournament.

I think a lot of people are too obsessed about the No1 rank! It's important off course but we must realised what it actually means and it does not means being the best. Roger is the greatest of all-time.Period.He has 16 majors.Rafa has 9.That is a fact.....Rafa is number one right now and could possibly challenge Sampras and Roger if he stays healthy.Rafa is the greatest player of all-time on clay.That is for sure.I just hope they meet more in major finals next year.They bring out the best in each other and have the best rivalry.

They had some epic matches and for me, it's hard to determine which rivalry was more exciting. Regardless, I do think Rafael Nadal is better but that's only my opinion. Once their careers are done, we may still not know definitively but we'll have a better perspective on the question and answer. Take care.

Both are great players obviously. But the results speak for themselves. Federer is without a doubt the best tennis player to have ever picked up a racket. So, Rafa has a winning record against him. That's nice. Rafa can have whatever he wants as long as I am ranked num. 1 and hold the record for grandslams and time spent at the num. 1 ranking. And another stat that isnt so obvious if the fact that rafa sometimes doesn't even make it far enough to play federer in the finals. I.E. The us open.

Both are great players obviously. But the results speak for themselves. Federer is without a doubt the best tennis player to have ever picked up a racket. So, Rafa has a winning record against him. That's nice. Rafa can have whatever he wants as long as I am ranked num. 1 and hold the record for grandslams and time spent at the num. 1 ranking. And another stat that isnt so obvious if the fact that rafa sometimes doesn't even make it far enough to play federer in the finals. I.E. The us open.

Rafa has only two years left on the tour till he retires because of permanent knee injuries. He's out of the Aussie Open now and even if he wins the 7 Majors that are left in the next two years he would just have 12 Grand Slam titles in the end, and you know he won't win all of them. What roger has is just frustration ..that he let his nerves take over in the crucial stages..because he should have beaten nadal in those finals...he came so close..all he had to do was keep cool . Wimbledon final hit Roger hard mentally, even when he plays Nadal in another grandslam and when the score starts to go nadal way ..i know for a fact that all the traumatic memories flood in ...and thats when Roger starts to let go, he loses his belief

i think it is useless to debate if rog is the GOAT. it's very subjective matter. personally, i think it's the feat the rog had ran for the past 5 years that made him so great. 21 consecutive GS SF, 20 GS F, 15 GS Titles, 60 career titles, the way he moves, the strokes he makes with his racket, the not sweating factor. i think nadal is a very good player too. he's been around quite long as well. but i'll give it to fed..

He's already had 2-3 serious injuries. He won't be in the same condition when he passes 27-8, no one is, especially since these guys play 11 months of the year it's hard to compare them to other athletes. And he plays the longest points out of anyone. Hewitt was the same, he couldn't last. Murray and Nadal need to be incredibly fit to keep up their style into their late 20's. And he should win some RG's if he avoids Soderling and JMDP.
