Red wire on the riffle is just sexy. What type of color you using for the chrome and gold frame? for the white color r you using pearl white acrylic paint?

@SanakanfuckYT Thanks, the red is tamiya clear red over mithril silver. The white is rustoleum painters touch matt white (from a spray can).

I've used several shades on silver on the model, including citadel boltgun metal, mithril silver, humbrol aluminum and rustoleum elegant silver.

The gold is again a spray paint, its an enamal paint from rustoleum (and a very nice shade).

@kamniks Glad you liked this one Kamm, these AC kits are fantastic, its always my hope to see the Hand Painting Assassin try one of these! With regards to my AC kits, only my Alicia Unsung, Hogire, Foxeye and the Noblesse Oblige are fully painted. I've started to paint another but might set that aside in favor of a HMM Zoids kit.

@windrarjs Yes indeed, I believe the track is called "The End Run". Its a favorite of mine, and even thought I have a copy of the Armored Core 4 OST, this track fitted the slide show better.

@tc012009 Well I don't have alot of AC kits, besides those two I only have the nineball=seraph and the white glint + V.O.B, are you planning on working on any of those kits? I can already imagine how well you could do the V.O.B unit, the detail on that is insane!

@windrarjs I actually have a VOB set, I'm planning to build and paint the Aspine White Glint And Line Ark White Glint in March/ April 2012 and will be building the VOB as part of the project. I'll keep you updated with my progress with some WIP videos next year.

@shinn214 Thants, the paintjob is a mixture of spraypaint and brushpainting, most of the detail and panel lining is brush painted (with a very fine 0000 paintbrush!!).

@xUsagiEffect LOL, I really like this tune it always seems to work well with a slideshow as it has a nice pace. I have the Armored Core 4 soundtrack but none of the track really stood out. Are you looking forward to Mass Effect 3 next year?

@gunhed70 Thanks for the great feedback,  I'd agree, this did benefit from a white finish. I'm actually working on the Crest Delta version at the moment, you comment has got me wondering how it would look in white (it dark navy OOB)!! :D

@Wizartar Ha :P , its a throwback to my childhood and those coloring by numbers books!! Simply got to paint everythink (and stay between the lines) !!

This is a great AC kit BTW, very stable when built and a pretty sweet design, highly recommended.

@Say0n No unfortunately not, these models are more comparible to a HG Gundam Kit, they have no internal details/ cockpit areas.

@BakChiJai Many thanks I really had a lot of fun painting the model. The main shade of gold i use is a enamel Rustoleum spray paint (which is currently a real favorite of mine), its a cold shade of gold which works well with white IMO. I also used citadels burnished gold for some detailing (it a very bright gold shade).

@enderwiggen100 Good question Ender, I really have to make a start on the F1 Ferrari model I'm doing for Carrotz motor GB. Aside from that I might wait until the Holidays to work on a new HMM Zoid and then MG Heavyarms in Jan. LOL, that of course could all change by the weekend, you know how erratic I am with models, I started MG Epyon during the summer and still only have one wing finished!

SWEET...... As usual you did an incredible job. Great paint job and white to boot. I've never been happy with anything I painted that color. It shows too many imperfections.

@gunplanut Many thank, I agree 100% white can be a nightmare. For this kit I fully primed the plastic before applying several matt coat (Rustoleum painters touch) and it really helped me achieve a crisp finish.

@tc012009 Painting white is so hit or miss, I usually use 800-2000 grit sandpaper beforehand because even with a coat of white primer the Tamiya Pure Whit I like shows ever flaw.

@gunplanut I actually used rustoleum white primer on this model, and alongside their Matt White paint I got really good results (the OOB model is a light grey in color). Building up the paint in several thin layers also helped to get a crisp finish.
