Hey screw you, at least the Royals care about their team, not dealing them away in a fulite attempt to keep payroll under 30 million. The Royals are in 1st by the way, and Greinke is baseballs best pitcher (6-0, 0.40 ERA). Don't be dissing KC we have a much higher quality team than you guys this year. One of these days the Marlins are gonna quit getting lucky with young guys out of the minors and have no one talented to trade away for free like they love to do
espcially the marlins with nunez locking up the 8th inning which i believe he should be closer cause lindstrom is a bit shaking but we gotta give him time to adjust to the roll. but yea you gotta give trades sometime before actually rating it.
hey i feel the same way you did about this trade at the begining when i heard about it but you gotta give it sometime to actually rate the trade and looks to me with a 14-9 record that the marlins and the record of that the royals have of 12-11 i beleive the trade worked out great for both teams .
it keeps happening as if you owner don't wanna win... but you guys do... be proud, i'm a mets fan... and our owner bust his ass... but never nothing...
Bash the royals all you want, we'll see what you think after this year is over. 23 years is too long, but we're gonna be contenders this season. Guaranteed.
Jacobs for Benito Santiago...sounds like a steal for me (KC got Nunez straight up for him in 05...I think Benny gave Pittsburgh 5 ABs or something before coming up lame for good). And I would now think that marlin territory would be more of a "purgatory" than KC.
Jacobs will thrive as a DH with the Royals. The dude has big time power. 32 HR and 93 RBI's. Is he fast? No. Great defensive player? No. But if you want a power hitting lefty, Mike Jacobs fits the bill. He'll hit 35 this year if he gets more DH time than 1B
Dan Uggla is not the holy grail dude! His an average baseball player with average defense/speed/and average. All he has going for him is the HR'S. If theres a better deal on the table that can bring over some speed/defense/average, then by all means, trade him. The guy strikes out like 150 times every season.
i don't know...the marlins usually know what they're doing when it comes to young pitchers. They always have at least a decent staff. Oh well. We shall see.
Nuñez is a million times more Valuable than Mike Jacobs. He is Young and Talented. He will be the Best closer in Marlins History. Trust Me.

Jacobs for Nunez was a good deal. Jacobs is not a very good baseball player.

32 HR's and 93 RBI's. Left handed power like that makes him worth quite a bit. Florida gave him away.
