You amaze me. I'm really amused that 'Schmendrick' means 'useless person' because my boyfriend's name is Kendrick and this makes me laugh. He is kinda useless. I'm diggin' Skeletor though. Hmmm... we'll see.
I vote Shakespearian. He's a very melancholy looking fellow, maybe Hamlet. It might be a she...in the interest of androgyny, perhaps you should name it after the lead in Twelfth Night (whose name escapes me at the moment).
